ARG-8 'Argate'
AGE: Manufactured in the distant past, date unknown.
RACE: Android
CLASS: Defender
APPEARANCE
A cumbersome android of rusty iron and exposed wiring, ARG-8 has a crude humanoid shape.
Its 'head' is a amalgamation of sensory apparati, most of which no longer function. ARG-8's voice, distorted by static and muffled by a protective metal plate, comes from a speaker located where a humans mouth would be.
A bulky metallic body houses the androids energy core, from which it draws its power, still considerable after about a hundred years of hibernation. Various tools and devices are stored inside ARG-8's rotundness, most of them wiped from the androids consciousness, their purpose forgotten.
Each arm ends in a crude pincer-like manipulator, as well as a directed energy weapon. A third larger 'arm' is folded against ARG-8's back, broken and unable to be deployed but itself armed with an even more powerful blaster. ARG-8's two primary legs, stubby and incapable of any feats of agility, manage to hold up the hefty android (if only barely). A third leg may be deployed, forming ARG-8 into an immobile tripod, enabling greater accuracy and focus at the cost of evasion. Small rockets on the legs and back once allowed for flight, but have long since ceased functioning.
HISTORY
ARG-8 ended its former 'life' after a battle in a remote region against a squad of Saiyan elites left it damaged but not destroyed. Unable to contact help, the android parked itself to await repairs, keeping itself running with nothing but solar energy, keeping its battery full just enough to fight should a Saiyan chance by. Over the years a forest grew around ARG-8, and a thick canopy denied it the solar energy it needed to sustain itself. It would remain in hibernation until direct sunlight once again gave it power.
A great span of time passed.
Now, little of ARG-8's past is known, other than its single-minded devotion to aiding humanity and fighting against the Saiyans. However, even that overwhelming imperative has deteriorated. The android has the lost the ability to tell human and alien apart In fact it's not even sure what any of that means anymore, only that the ones called 'Saiyans' that they are to be destroyed.
A logo, emblazoned on the robots torso for something called a 'Capsule Corp' is easily made out, but what this means to most anybody has long been lost to time. ARG-8's own memories are scrambled and unreliable at best, and outright false at the worst. This makes him potentially dangerous to all parties, 'friend' or 'foe' alike, but also grants him freedom other simple machines would not have; the ability to form a unique personality amidst the confusion of his coding.

ABILITIES
[ATTACK] ALPHA STRIKE: Provided ARG-8's Capsule Corp Light Alpha Energy Blasters (TM) are still actually working, they can be used to project simple ki attacks. By concentrating energy into both weapons at once, ARG-8 is able to issue forth a powerful attack that sacrifices accuracy for a staggering volume of fire.
[SUPPORT] ENCAPSULATION: ARG-8 comes equipped with a Capsule Corp Portable Utility Encapsulator MK 1 (Patent Pending). This device of impressive ingenuity has the ability to transform objects of wide ranging sizes and masses into small portable objects about the size of a baseball, i.e. Capsules. With a simple push of a button, the encapsulated object will return to its original state with a soft *pomf* sound, no worse for wear. Currently ARG-8 can only encapsulate itself, but it is possible that it would be able to encapsulate other inanimate objects after fully repairing the device. While encapsulated ARG-8 is not aware of its surroundings and cannot un-encapsulate itself; another being has to push the button!
