Taking children away to be trained into slavery, that is what the Saiyan king has recently decided. But unknown to the public, the Saiyans have already been doing this for years...how did they managed to avoid being noticed until they blatantly declared it? Simple, they chose to go for the homeless child since any homeless child can be easily tricked with the promise of food and shelter. At the age of eight, a starving Dante was one of these children that was mislead. Yes these children got food and shelter but the food were simple scraps while the shelters were more like cages. Escape was virtually impossible, obviously since they were on a far away planet, and any child that either tried to escape or were disobedient were literally dragged out in front of their fellow humans and killed in a public message to the rest of them.
It was there that Dante met both Celia and Alakai, quickly becoming best friends with the both of them. No matter how cruelly the saiyans treat them, they had each other for support and comfort. At eleven Dante was made to work under a rather abusive sayian for a few month and whenever he failed to meet up the sayian's over the top standards the boy would end up being beaten up. This sayian became more and more demanding, as well as aggressive, towards the child with each beating changing from fist to whips and even ki blasts. Halfway through his time under this sayian Dante ended up burnt, cut all over and completely battered.
The aggressive behaviours and beatings continued on throughout three years, before the sayian was sent off to conquer a different planet, with one beating being completely fearsome in both mercilessness and brutality. The reason for his frustrations was simply because he was drunk but the impact was devastating...not only did he use the hardest part of the whip to split Lopez's forehead open but also managed to slot a tiny ki blast through that cut. The aftermath of this beating is that whenever light shines down upon his forehead, Dante would an inhuman surge of pain throughout his head.
Not only did it feel crippling but it would almost cripple Dante completely but fortunately, a few days after that horrible master went off on his mission, Celia got a dark red cloth and wrapped it around his head. This not only stopped the light from getting to his permanent wound, thus no longer hurting the male, but also began the beginning of their relationship as she shared a gentle kiss. Celia cared for his wounds when alone while always sitting together, sharing their scrap with each other. The sayians originally considered splitting the two, not liking the idea of such an union between servants, but decided to not bother since the quality of both their work ethics doubled.
This all changed in a year however as, with Dante being fifteen and Celia being fourteen, a rugged looking sayian came to them with the vilest of purposes. With a whip in hand he swatted the male to the side, forcefully stripping Celia and violently threw her onto the rag that was a servant's bed, stripping himself has his intentions were clear...he plans to have his sickest sexual desires with this fourteen year old girl since, in his and majority of the sayian's eyes, a slave is nothing more than a possession. The moment he forced his naked body upon hers Dante managed to get the whip, threw the damaging end around his throat and began to choke the sayian. The abuser would have just got up and blast the male servant yet was too startled at what just to do anything until it was too late. With the now dead and naked sayian lying in between them the two instantly made the decision of "let's go."
While running down the corridor Dante found Alakai, who is also fifteen by this stage, being beaten up a different sayian and, using the element of surprise, tackled him down. The two friends then got some decently sized rocks and beaten the sayian to death before continuing to run off with Celia. Some of the other slaves found out about this and tried to stage their own rebellion and while the result was a simple massacre...it did give the trio more than enough time to get to the spaceships, the very ships used to import slaves into the planet. Fortunately they did manage to find a ship, with an autopilot setting for some unknown reason, to get upon. Problems showed up though as the sayians quickly showed up into the port while the ship the three has chosen wasn't as reliable as they hoped.
Not wanting Celia or Alakai to be captured, since being caught now would result in their deaths, so he offered to dive out of the ship and distract the sayians long enough for his girlfriend and best friend...however instead Alakai lifted Celia up and pushed out of the ship. Dante was complete horrified by this, easily predicting what horrible things the sayians would so to her, yet the moment he shouted at Alakai for a reason he was met with a stiff right hand...thus everything going black.
When Dante woke up he found himself in a small, opened, space-pod on a land he realised was Earth. He immediately looked up towards the sky, a few tears leaving his eyes at the thought of never being with Celia again, and shouted out Alakai's name in a cursing sort of manner before running off to see what has Earth become.
Eight years has past since then and now Dante has become a triple-barrelled pistol wielding mercenary famously known as either 'The Blood Gunner' or 'The Red Gunner.' Throughout the years Dante never once took the cloth off his head, if anything he decided to dress up in a way that would suit this headband, since he values it has a memento to his lost love Celia. But no matter how much his love for Celia burned, there was on flame that burned even brighter within Dante...and that is the desire to get revenge on Alakai for what he did.
