This Weekend DO OR DIE

Hey guys,

So normally when I send out an activity check everyone comes running on back to check out the forum. This time however this was not the case. We have lost a decent number of members, and while there are a few things that can be contributing to it I think the most devastating killer of them all is a lack of interest. Threads are moving painfully slow, and even those of you who are our most active are just trudging along at this point. So this weekend is our revamp.

Starting right now, and ending on Friday of next week we are officially in relaunch mode. No this doesn't mean you lose your character or stat points, or even the threads you are currently in. What it means is that I will be updating quite a few things, creating an archive for old information, and most importantly advertising.

Before I do this however it is incredibly important that I know who I have backing me up. Now is the time to make that critical decision. Are you still playing on the site? Let me know below. I need to know if you are still interested, or just hanging in there because you would hate to see it die. To be honest I don't want anyone here who isn't happy here. Post below what your feelings are and if you are interested in helping with the relaunch. I have jobs for those willing and able!

Thanks for all your support. We opened in May of this year, so for those keeping track that is 5 months. We are not a brand new site anymore, so lets make it look pretty, and really get this baby started!

It's been 5 months already? o.o Honestly, it feels like 1 or 2 months. xD 

Anyway, so far I am still here, though I cannot yet say whether or not this might change in the near future. I still don't feel like my 'new life' has become routinely. I'm still expecting things to change and until they do I can't make big declarations.

You know I'm here as always. A little slow at times because of my aging laptop but I can get a minimum of a post a day up. Problem there is I have noone to post with. and I don't do solo. Tosh is stuck in a topic that's ground to a halt as am I in a few. It strikes me that once people miss a posting cycle and are skipped or there's even talk of skipping them for a round, they feal put upon and simply refuse to post or even talk to the other staff. Unfortunately this still drags on topics because unneccisarily valiant individuals refuse to move on without the lagging party. In this case I would suggest that staff assume control of the lagging character and move them to the wayside. If the lagging memeber resumes posting within another round they can pick up the character and move them back into a active role. If however they relapse or don;t post for a second round, then they should be removed.

Now I know normally this type of suggestion is best introduced in the staff section, but I'm hoping that by being posted publicly and it's generally benighn nature will serve to motivate those lagging parties to resume activity.

I dont want to see this site die..how does that make me bad? I'm still interested in Rping here and I dont want to see the site die. I'm not sure how much I cna help with though as Im pulling in helping loads with another site as well as with my Gma who has cancer. I can help just not sure with what.
