On such a clear night it was impossible not to notice just how beautiful the stars were. Each one set silently in the sky as if offering peace and salvation to those who hunted for it. Though gazing up at the night sky would bring more than a serene light. If anything it would bring absolute terror to any watching. A crack of light struck the sky, a flash so bright it would literally seem like day for nearly three seconds. Enough time for anyone in Rad city to be surprised, and anyone in the Ghettian to immediately fret. Fearing what they did not understand, many were prompted to look up at the sky to see where the daylight had suddenly come from, and in the sky they would find there answer. Written in neon red painted across the sky the words were simple.
Sent to determine your fate
The pure mystery of the lingering fire show was enthralling for some, and terrifying for others. Many wondered if Broc himself would appear and begin wasting civilians, or if this was just another way to scare the human’s into submission. Regardless it was working, and it had peaked the interest of some. Unfortunately the only human officially rebelling against the saiyans was not present for the lights, his training had him elsewhere, so a few others would have to take his place. A select few who cast fear aside and chose to engage this foreign foe. The message would be replaced by a sharp ringing, much like a firework being shot into the sky, and then in one final flash of light, a bright yellow arrow would point downward on the foreigners location, directly in the heat of the Blood Plains.
__________________________________________________
“I don’t have time for this shit!”
Broc yelled from his top floor room within Rad cities finest establishment. A cold beverage in on hand, and a human slave naked in the other the man was enjoying a relaxing night in the hot tub. His tail had just curved around the woman’s voluptuous waist when the lights began to flash. Before the arrow could even arrive he was already on his scouter speaking with the deadly dozen. This person at the very least had advanced firepower and needed to be dealt with.
“Send out Kal and his…Deployed elsewhere!? Dammit…uh…try Honjo and…right right he wouldn't be anywhere near the plains…What about…no…you’re telling me they’re the only ones able…”
Standing up letting the night air strike his wet skin the chill would be the least of his worries. The only team he had to send was not one that he sent lightly. This was the team that when deployed could not be easily controlled. They were known for being…messy. If he sent this team, it meant that he expected no survivors from whoever was causing the problem. The arrow in the sky however set him off. It was a challenge, a direct one at that.
“…Deploy Team 1”
No sooner had the words left his lips did he regret it. Now he would never know what had caused that light. Whoever it was would be dead within the hour, and without a doubt would provide one last light show before death…
The night would be filled with blood truly. The human resistance would meet what was likely the most horrific of all the saiyan teams on Earth. As would their alien arrival.

(Since everyone wants to post last, I'll go first ;P) It was a peaceful night for the young boy as he laid on the battered roof of a abandoned building, stargazing was something Aice liked to do in his downtime. After a long day of running around the city like a chicken with his head cut off it was a great way to wide down. It was hard for Aice not to miss the vibrate lights that lit up the dark night sky, like a flash of lighting everything could be seen as though the sun was high in the sky. Confusion set over Aice as he look at the direction from where the source of light resonated from just in time to see a object streak across the sky line. It took a few seconds for him to understand what he was seeing but then he remembered back to when Ume's first arrived here in her spacecraft. No dobut it was something similar but it was much larger than her vessel was, however Aice was curious as to why it would be landing here on earth. Out following the tail of the craft was a message that streamed across the sky; sent to determine your fate, burning brightly against the night.
"Sent to determine your fate? What's the suppose to mean?" Aice thought confused at the message.
"One things for sure that's a space craft, but what the hell are they...it...coming here for? They must know how much control the Saiyan's have here on earth...fuck, maybe they are Saiyan's. Regardless of what they might be I should check this out, if turns out what ever is on that ship is a threat I should be there too take care of it. Don't want it getting to the settlement."
Heading over the crest of the buildings the ship flew out of Aice's vision after waiting a few seconds a another flash of light from behind the buildings confirmed that the ship had crashed. From the angle of trajectory and from how long it took to see the second flash of light, Aice had guessed that it landed somewhere in the sandy wastes of the Blood plains. It was a harsh environment which few people ventured too with many dangerous animals, most likely the travels had no idea what they were in for.
"Dang of all places, well I should get out there as quickly as possible. Any one in the whole city would have seen the flash of light, best I get to it before anyone else."
Sliding down the roof top Aice made his way down the roof, reaching the lip of the building he kicked off with his feet launching him into the air. Landing on another building Aice hopped his way from roof top to roof top making his way towards the sandy seas.

It was now fall, or simply night, on earth. Ume wouldn't really spend her nights or her dreams right in the plains, but it was actually more... Open than the other places she's been to, even though she has heard a few times that it can be dangerous, especially at night. Since Ume was half an animal, and had some animal traits, personality and appearance wise, the furry can take care of herself, luckily. Ume wasn't actually IN the plains just yet, but just somewhere at the entrance of it, maybe? She was lying down in the plains, out in the open, glaring at the stars. She was then fascinated by the scenery brought in the starry skies. The earth itself didn't have the most positive area, aside from possibly a market she was shown to by a fellow human, Aice... Before she destroyed it, of course, but the nighttime's skies was just so marvelous. She can just stare at it forever.
Wow... The scenery is so peaceful... Loving... Almost makes me want to sleep... Ume thought, as she released a soft yawn. Every single star glued on the sky was just.. Amazing. So amazing, the furry's eyes slowly began to close. What could possibly go wrong in such a beautiful scene like this?
She apparently, spoke too soon. Suddenly, neon red colored words were written across the sky.
Sent... To determine your fate...? Ume repeated the words in her head. What was this? Did earth always had this at the nighttime? Straightly sitting up, all the furry did was glare at the words. Then, sharp ringing traveled to the furry's large, fox ears, causing them to twitch with quick motion. Howling in pain, the furry held onto her head, closing her eyes tightly.
Just again for a few more seconds, Ume looked up once more, as she at least managed to see a bright, yellow arrow traveling down somewhere near the Blood Plains. Slowly moving her hands away from her head, a thought shot to her. Wha-...What was that? Her mind asked. Pulling herself up on her two bare feet, all Ume wanted to do was to investigate. She wasn't so sure if this always happens on earth, or whether this message was a good sign or not. Checking this out, was the only answer. Whatever it is... I better go check it out!
With those words traveling through the furry's head, she shifted away into the plains, attempting to find the source.

Jinsoku sat atop a building in the Ghettian settlement, a slow night wind blowing across his cape body. He had been…out of service since his ghastly defeat at the hands of the small saiyan Haku. Using the time that passed to not only heal...but to rethink nearly his entire life. To rethink what he did, what he fought for…to rethink if it was truly worth it… As he stood atop the building, he had clearly made up his mind. Yes…yes it was. He was the fight in the fightless; he was the strong in the weak. This...this is what I am. This is who I am. Come hell or high water, if I deny it I deny everything I’ve ever done…everything I’ve ever fought for. I’m a hero…a hero can be truly anything. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a little boy’s shoulder, to let HIM know…that the world…hadn’t ended. Jinsoku…The Jinman…He was that man. He was the coat over the boy’s shoulder. He was forever in darkness…trying to provide light for those who can’t see. A bright light shot across the sky, lighting it and the ground below up like fireworks. Jinsoku’s head shot toward the sky, a bright message sewn into the sky like specifically formed clouds. ‘Sent to determine your fate’ it said. Hmm… not long after that a spiraling fiery ball shot through the sky, crashing near the blood plains. Thoughts ran quickly through Jinsoku’s mind on whether he should check it out or not…the strange message in the sky was most intriguing…but…he knew what he had to do. Life…is locomotion. If you’re not moving, you’re not living...but there comes a time when you’ve got to stop running away from things and you’ve got to start running towards something…You’ve got to forge ahead and keep moving… The bright message in the sky start to dim and go away, nearly shrouding the settlement in darkness once again. Even if your path isn’t lit…Trust that you’ll find your way..Jinsoku would kick off from the rooftop he was on, cut a flip in the air, and when he was inches from the, stopping himself wit his ki, he would channel it to allow him to take flight. Zooming in and out of the small streets of the Ghettien settlement until a wall impeded his path. That would not stop him; up he went into the sky heading toward where the bright blazing ball had landed. What lay ahead for him was unknown to him, but whatever it was. It would determine his fate, a fate that he was already embracing. Whatever the message meant…whatever the ball of light was…Jinsoku would not stop fighting for what he believed in…ever. The stage was set. The hero's of Earth rushed to see what was lighting up their sky. Jinsoku would not allow his fellow human's to be forced into anything this person so deemed necessary. Fate was all well and good, but no one would tell him they couldn't succeed. Aice too had taken off, his footing even slightly faster than the hero Jinsoku. His reason for searching equally as valiant, as finding the craft responsible before it could do harm to the settlement was of paramount importance. Ume, who was closer than the other two, would also be on her way. Though not nearly as heroic as the other two, her reason's for travel were ones to be expected, curiosity. Though in this case, no matter their reason, they would all be intertwined together as truly fate was set into motion.
Team one had the longest way to travel, Rad city was nearly twenty miles out from the blood plains, while the Ghettien was right next to it. Our hero's would arrive well before their enemies. One by one they would find themselves standing before what could only be described as one of the most colossal space vessels they had ever seen. Standing nearly thirty stories tall, and easily several yards wide, the pure white craft was a site to be seen.
The first to arrive would be Aice due to his quick pacing.
The second Jinsoku, only a minute behind.
And finally at her own leisurely pace the feline herself Ume would arrive.
They would have a moment to gawk, and perhaps even chat before finally learning what they had just walked into.
(Posting order determined based on speed. Aice, Jinsoku, Ume.)

Jinsoku soared through the night sky quickly yet gracefully. His feet touching the ground outside the city and a dozen yards away from the giant clearing where this strange vessel seemed to be. Jinsoku’s eyes watched through his mask at the giant white vessel, as he drew closer he was amazed that such a vessel existed…and it seemed to land without any problems…at least none that he saw. He slowly walked around it, moving his eyes around trying to capture any and every sign that there might be. Unfortunately, other than the outer whiteness on the strange craft, there was nothing to see. It was just tall…and…unusually out of place. What is this…thing…
He slowly moved his hand and placed it on the odd vessel, it was cold. Which struck Jinsoku as odd seeming that it has passed through earth’s atmosphere and high enough speeds to produce some kind of heat…Jinsoku would continue to slide his hand against the chilly surface of the vessel plating, still having no idea what the thing was or what he would do about. Surely saiyans would be showing up soon, was this thing worth defending? There was no way Jinsoku could hide or move it, not when it made such a grand entrance. For now...he would continue to investigate the vessel, knocking on it and seeing if there was any kind of entrance or latch.

Ume wasn't so much the quickest critter to run, so the furry decided to take on more of a little jog at the night, but not really using up all of her might to put on her speed. In her head, she was just running for it, but in reality, she was taking her own sweet time, but the question in her head about what she saw back at the skies. Was there perhaps someone who made that weird message at the skies? As she kept "running" as the furry would call it, Ume can already sense some faded ki signatures not too far. Feels like I'm not too far from the energies! Her mind went, as she continued to pad along.
It wasn't really exactly too long before Ume has arrived. It also wasn't too long before the furry noticed a large white craft within the area, and bigger than anything Ume has seen on her way to Earth. Wh-Whoa...! What is that? She thought, as she stared at the ship. To the furry, she thought it was way too big to be a ship, but then again, it is actually a shift. Maybe I should take a closer look.. Her mind kept going, as she slowly crawled up to the ship, as her nose began to sniff about at the ship.
With just then, as Ume was on her fours, with her tail wagging about, she came across a black cloaked figure with a face covering thing, as the furry had no idea what a "mask" was. Was that perhaps the creature that landed this ship? And what was up with the attire it had? Did all creatures look so... Weird? Ume would very-likely be talking right now, though. But, never have she seen something this... Peculiar with such style. Maybe it was a wardrobe error or whatever. Maybe she should say hi to get rid of her curiosity. As she then padded up to the figure, her voice chirped, "Hey!" As she approached remaining on her fours, she then decided to tug onto the figure's cloak, trying to get its attention.
She wasn't so sure if it was nice or not, but whatever it was, Ume would try to face the outcome.

Jinsoku continued to investigate the strange vessel, so far having found absolutely nothing that told where this thing had come from or who owned it or what. It was just as mysterious as when Jinsoku first arrived on the scene. But he wouldn’t just give up; this had to mean something…This did mean something. The message in the sky, this giant...thing it all had to mean something for someone. Jinsoku was eager to find out whom that someone might be. The voice of someone made Jinsoku jump, forcing his head to quickly turn to where the voice had come from. At first he didn’t notice anything until he felt something tugging on his cloak, he looked down to see what looked like a human but with furry ears and a fluffy tail…Was this the owner of this vessel? What exactly was it? It looked like a she...but was it?
Jinsoku poke do his own tugging as he attempted to tug on her fox like ears and tail, all while speaking to the strange new creature. “Who are you? What are you? Is this your vessel? Who’s fate are you going to determine? The saiyans? Humans? Mine?” Jinsoku felt a little odd asking such questions out abruptly but he wanted some type of answer. He needed some type of answer before…before any saiyans showed up. That would be bad…especially if this small creature is frail and not fit to battle. There was not much time before he felt saiyans would show here seeking out this vessel as well and he surely knew that would bring company as well as having the necessary equipment to move it someplace secured by them. He had to get some answers...and fast.

An exaggerated flinch came to her animal traits, as the stranger then tugged onto her ears and tail. "Hey!" The furry barked in stress. Ume then released a soft growl to the stranger, giving signals she obviously didn't appreciate for the fact that she felt uncomfortable of the way her ears and tail was tugged onto like that. What did this... This... This blanket looking thing think it is?! Of course, the stranger probably didn't see a creature like Ume, but to come at her animal traits like that?
Just when Ume was about to snap, the figure then came shooting at her with questions.
“Who are you? What are you? Is this your vessel? Who’s fate are you going to determine? The saiyans? Humans? Mine?”
"Calm down!" Ume then howl in annoyance. Already her first expression of this thing, assuming it's a male from the voice, wasn't so positive. "If I had to say though... I'm Ume, and I'm not a 'you-man' or a 'say-an'. I'm not even from this planet! And I'm just as curious like you on what's going on." The furry spoke for herself.
"And I'd REALLY appreciate it if you'd let go of my ears and tail! You have no idea on how sensitive they are either!" She continued to bark angrily.

As he tugged and pulled on her animal like characteristics, he heard her yell out the same word as before but he could tell it was more of an irritated sound, but that still didn’t stop him from asking her a multitude of questions. Once he finished he was a little taken back when she yelled out for him to calm down. He sighed, knowing full well he needed to calm down and so he did. Jinsoku would then listen as this thing would introduce herself as Ume and them claim she didn’t know what humans or saiyans were, however he caught that she had an odd accent or didn’t understand how to pronounce then one. What him more however was that she said she was not from this planet and that she was just as curious as to what was going on than he was. For a few moments he was confused, yet worried. If she didn’t know what this thing was…then who did? "And I'd REALLY appreciate it if you'd let go of my ears and tail! You have no idea on how sensitive they are either!" He jumped back, he had forgotten that he was still rubbing her ears and tails. Letting them go and turned his head to the side and spoke. “My Apologies…I am not….use to such an outsider like yourself…I am just…at odds with this thing, and I know I have little time before the saiy-..the bad men show up and claim it as theirs. ..Im just trying to understand it before they do.”His head turned toward the strange vessel once more, his eyes scanning it. There has to be someway to open this ship...there has to be something special about this vessel….but what is it?

"So...many questions"
A voice rang out from above them. A nasally sharp strike to their ears as they would look up to finally meet the owner of the vessel. The man was cloaked entirely in white. His cape wrapped tightly around his front, with a large turban taking over a good portion of his face. The only part of his body still showing were two crystal eyes, both peering down at the two intruders. A lone scar crossed between his eyes, and as he blinked it seemed to rise and fall with the muscles in his face. His voice still slightly muffled by his cape he continued.
"You have the pleasure of addressing Hajirama! The most powerful king in all the universe!"
Though his ship was impressive, as was the fireworks display shown before, this guy didn't look like a king. For one thing he was short, even standing atop his ship it was clear that he was only about four and a half feet tall. He also sounded rather young, as not many adults grew into a nasally voice. No this person certainly didn't look like a king, let alone the most powerful in all the universe.
"So you are the protectors of this planet then, the ones that hold sway?"
And so well informed! This person clearly had no clue what was going on here, as the human and his alien compatriot stood looking up at their intruder.

Tears were formed in the corners of the furry's eyes. Ume's ears and tail then began to twitch wildly for a moment as the man released his palms from her animal-like traits. Immediately, her hands reached for her ears, rubbing them slightly. The furry was expecting some sort of apology, and at least a SINCERE one. "Oww..." She howled softly, and painfully to herself. Staring at the cloaked thing, he then began to speak out at his words. And it BETTER be an apology that first comes to his mind, but Ume can have her moments where she exaggerates a little too much.
“My Apologies…I am not….use to such an outsider like yourself…I am just…at odds with this thing, and I know I have little time before the saiy-..the bad men show up and claim it as theirs. ..Im just trying to understand it before they do.”
Ume watched as the man turned his head around to the side. The furry released a soft growl under her breath, just having her tempered managed and controlled. She isn't or doesn't seem to to be the type of person to look their temper or get mad, but if someone just grabs onto her ears and/or tail, then there's a definite problem! "You BETTER be sorry! Even though you're not used to people not me, at least don't just carelessly grab their ears and or tails!" Ume continued to bark, as her voice made a slight crack, with a squeak. With someone with a cheery personality, it would be troublesome to her. She wouldn't also be the type to just snap so easily, Ume would just shrug it off and leave it at that. But THIS? This was something else.
"So...many questions"
Ume was about to begin her little rant, until she was then interrupted by a voice, sharp enough for her ears to be irritated again. A soft hiss scowled through her lips, as she held onto her ears again, as her head then immediately shot up at the vessel. "Does no one ever have any respect for the girl who have sensitive ears!" Right now, Ume only cares about her ears. The attire though, was... Interesting. The clothing though is awfully... Funny. Her mind went. Right away, she can tell this... Thing was from here, just like Ume. Yet, she just tried her best to contain her laughter.
"You have the pleasure of addressing Hajirama! The most powerful king in all the universe!"
Hajirama? Power king? Universe? Just by the looks and the name, Ume couldn't just help but giggle- no, laugh at the unknown specimen. He sounded more like a child to the furry's ears, the hands that were just removed to hold her stomach. That? The strongest ruler in all the universe, he stated? Please. No words really came out of her mouth, only laughter.
"So you are the protectors of this planet then, the ones that hold sway?"
Ume paused her laughter. Protectors of the planet? That was a little odd of the furry to hear. She just arrived to this planet and didn't have a good fighting signature, so it was obvious she wasn't a protector, and she was sure the cloak man wasn't either. She didn't even get his name to begin with, but the name "Hajirama" still gave Ume the giggles. "Hajirama!" Ume giggled. The furry wasn't really serious at the moment, but she had to admit though, it was kind of funny to her.

Jinsoku watched as the strange creature went to rub her ears and whimper as she did so. The masked man felt bad that he had done such a thing, it was out of context for him to do such a thing but he was on edge; not simply because of this strange new vessel, but because of the surely approaching saiyans as well. As he expressed his earnest apology, he hoped that this creature named Ume would not be so frustrated with him. However, her following words would not be so pleasant. Jinsoku, while taking in her words, got hindsight that she didn’t know what could be at stake with both of them just standing here. The saiyans could show up any minute…
Jinsoku’s thoughts were interrupted however when a new voice rang out, alerting Jinsoku and sending a small chill up his spine as his head turned toward where the voice had come from, expecting to see a saiyan. To slight relief, it didn’t look anything like a saiyan. However Jinsoku knew looks could be deceiving. The words of the new stranger rang in his head once more as if repeating to Jinsoku to let him know. So many questions.. Yes, Jinsoku knew that. There was certainly more questions than answers during these moments. As Jinsoku looked over the new arrivals appearance, he would halfheartedly listen to Ume's crying about people not having respect for her ears. Choosing not to respond, he would instead listen more intensely to the new arrival continue to speak. “You have the pleasure of addressing Hajirama, the most powerful king in the universe!!” Strange…it seemed Jinsoku had heard this before from the saiyans, yet this newcomer didn’t seem to be one. He was short and mostly covered up, but his eyes showed clear that if he was a saiyan, he was vastly unique.
His voice was also nasally, something that didn’t come from a saiyan, even a small one. The next words that would come from the small being would get rid of all doubt that Jinsoku had of him being a saiyan. “So you are the protectors of this planet then, the ones that hold sway?” It seemed clear to Jinsoku that this had to be the owner of the ship, as he didn’t know who ruled the Earth. But…the mysterious figure asked who protected it. “I am…one of the protectors of this planet yes. I take it you are the possessor of this vessel? Why have you come to Earth, what is it that you seek? Was the message in the sky also your doing? Like I told this youngling, I apologize for any questions that may overstep boundaries, but as a protector of this planet I like to stay in the loop.”
Jinsoku had not lied to the new being, he was a protector of this planet…but he did not rule it, no that belonged to a sinister race that Jinsoku hoped would be ridden from this planet. Jinsoku merely stepped around the wording of the mystery man and played with a different wording of his own, and with Ume not knowing much either. Hopefully his light cover would not be blown, at least not until actual saiyans showed up. But for now…Jinsoku hoped for some kind of answer regarding all of this.
