Well, he'd gotten the kid across to the village and she'd been dutifully hidden as soon as they stopped hiding from him. It felt bad but he DID have somewhere to be. Rubbing his shoulder idly (and noticing that he'd lost his sword somehow in the process of killing that Saiyan), Kimon took a second to take a look over the area he was walking in. It was pretty bashed up, he'd seen some bad things across the galaxy (which had come from the same source, these fine Saiyan friends here) but this was pretty terrible. The Saiyans were pretty well known for killing everyone and taking a planet but never enslaving an entire race, that was apparently a fairly recent development. As he looked at a toy store, burnt patches standing prominent where it had clearly been destroyed Kimon found his hands unexpectedly clenched. What was he getting angry for? It wasn't like he was an Earthling, he'd lived on Garo most of his life. But here he was with his teeth gritted and his eyes locked on the long left rubble. He turned and stalked off, imagination struggling to focus on anything else as he found his ship and slipped in through the opening at the bottom. He'd managed to hide it here after flying away from the Saiyan's mansion. With a sigh, he pushed the ignition and fell back into the pilot's seat. Maybe he could use the Dragonballs to wish for Earth to be free too, but would that really help? Maybe he could wish all the Saiyans suddenly became kind-hearted and nice to everyone. As he sat there pondering it took him a minute or two to realise that the ship wasn't moving and sat up. Blinking, he pushed the ignition key again, firmer this time before releasing and looking at the console. Still nothing. Trying to maintain his calm he pushed it again a few times. Push Push Push. PUSH PUSH PUSH. PUSHPUSHPUSH " AHHHH! It's broken! But how, Mom got it serviced just..." Sweeeeetie, I'm off to 'service the ship', be back tomorrow " ARRRGGHH! Goddamnit, I didn't need the mental trauma of just working that out!" Kimon whimpered as he smashed his head against the flight console and dragged himself off the ship to sit on the rocky plateau just outside where he'd hidden the ship. With his head perched sulkily on his hands Kimon was slowly coming to terms with his situation. He was stuck. " I doubt the Saiyans would lend me a ship, they seem pretty uptight about everything and they're probably mad about the whole... murder thing" what was he going to do then? He needed parts to repair his ship and get to Namek and if he stayed here. A sudden look of raw terror crossed his face " Oh man, this is EARTH! It's covered in those Saiyan Jerks, I can't beat a lot in a fight, I'll die. Oh maaaaaaaan" Falling back and rolling from side to side clutching his head, Kimon let his mini panic attack finish before he sat up and thought sensibly what he was going to do. Maybe the Humans had something he could use? They seemed pretty hard up but it was possible they could sell him some parts in exchange for food or something, he had a fairly full fridge in the ship (thought he'd demolished it after that fight with the Saiyan there was still some left over). Finding his resolve, Kimon hopped down from the plateau and floated the 70 feet to the ground slowly with his hands in his pockets. Rummaging, he found a small flat rectangle of plastic and pointed it at the ship. He pressed a button and there was a faint *beep beep*. Satisfied, Kimon pocketed the key and began walking towards the Earthling's settlement. His tail nicely tucked down his trousers (that was also weird, the humans didn't have tails, maybe they were a weird tailless version) Kimon made his way to the settlement.

I never knew this mission could be THIS freakin' complexed! Here I am, still trying to learn just one, and just ONE thing from this planet. And I'm still not making any progress! I don't know what a human or saiyan is just yet, or what they look like! Why does this have to be so hard for such a little mission? Obviously my little trip to this place washed out my notes in my head, apparently. But, I can't give up just yet. Besides, I can't even leave this place. Or at least, until they give me another pod to get the hell off this planet. But then again, they might punish me, since I didn't fulfill my mission. This is just not fair! Ume's mind ranted. Expected, she was on both her hands and knees, crawling within the area, with her face near the dirt, sniffing about. There were so many objects and living organisms that Ume doesn't even know about, specifically about plants and other species. Of course, the furry does know some animal species, and again, specifically the type her DNA was mixed with, or just to pull it off, the Canidae family.
Ume wanted to give up her little mission on being here. Not only something so simple became so complicated, but her education and her general knowledge of this planet was absolutely zero. Not only that, but trying to "fit in the crowd" didn't work out so well. For someone who have her canine senses mixed in her body, and her canineish physical traits sticking out, this wasn't going to be easy, not one bit. But, there were reasons why Ume didn't plan to give up and just live her life as an actual animal. The furry wasn't a quitter, either that, or because she has no way back to her home. But, this wasn't really so hard. Ume has been here for such little time, but seemed to make at least some progress about the species on this earth. At least she knew what the races were on this planet, which are humans, and saiyans, but still don't know which one is which, physical-wise. So, it felt like it wasn't exactly as if Ume didn't really knew anything about this planet. However, with only that ONE note said, her general knowledge was still taken as absolutely zero percent.
But, I guess I do know some parts of this earth, or at least this part of the area. For one, the weather here is humid, TOO humid, and the species around here are assumingly poor or something, kind of looking like as if they were "referees" in this part. Low on supplies such as food and liquid substances, like water at least. I guess I actually do have some knowledge on this place. Now, if only I can get somebody to tell me who's who and what's what. Maybe that way, I can get at least a better understanding, that is. Her mind went, as Ume's bushy tail swift about. Although she had a least some knowledge of this planet, or at least the settlement, she knew it wasn't enough to catch on for what's going on. She needed to be updated. Of course, she can just go in the settlement and ask for directions and so, but with this fox tail and these two fox ears stuck on her, it would be difficult for her to communicate without getting some sort of look from one's face.
As Ume kept crawling, or "walking like a canine" to put it, she quickly lifted her head up, as her ears twitched in suspicious, with her tail swinging back and forth, slowly. She felt a life source, specifically another specie, not too far away from the furry. Sadly, she can't distinguish a race with her ki sensing abilities. But, all she knew is that within this site, someone was in it, and not too far. Someone's here, I can feel it! Maybe it's either one of those humans or saiyans lurking around. Although I can't really tell who's who just yet, maybe I can get this creature to help me! Maybe I'm making some progress here! She thought, with not only relief, but with excitement as well. With her mind made up, still in her little canine position, she began darting her way to the energy she was feeling.
I just hope this person doesn't give me the odd looks, or at least think I'm not the one to look for trouble. Ume thought. She knew it wasn't daily for someone to have a long, bushy tail sticking out of a rear end, swagging left and right and fox ears on top of someone's head, twitching. Just as Ume then appeared to the scene, she stopped her movements, as she found a figure, with some sort of ragged clothing, with a red thing on his head, maybe a bandana? That was at least how the furry saw the appearance on this creature. What.. is that? Is that another one of those poor creature things I was told about? Her mind asked with curiosity. There was only one way to handle this, for Ume's case.
Still remaining in her canine position, Ume then padded off, as her focus was now on the creature. She then started to sniff the footwear of this creature most likely called boots. Jerking her head back in disgust, she turned her head away for a moment, sticking her whole tongue out. To her at least, the boots didn't smell that horrid. Rolling her tongue back in her mouth and her attention to the figure again, she began circle around this creature. She wasn't actually trying to get his attention with this manner, but rather curious on what a creature like this was doing out here. But, if she did happen to get the attention from this specie, maybe she can get a few questions out of the way.

Kimon's trawling had been at least somewhat unfortunate as he tried idly to scrape his boot clean of whatever he'd managed to unfortunately step in. His scowl and general swagger as he ended up approaching a small path lined with trees was not the most approachable looking of people. The trail was lined with a thin bunch of mostly dead trees and gave the whole area a... not too pleasant vibe. As he hopped over an exposed root, he started trying to think of opening gambits. Humans so far seemed to look a lot like him so maybe he should say he was one? Maybe not, it might come across weird when he didn't know about their culture? Maybe he should say he's a Saiyan and like threaten them or something, be all grrr, give me the machines! No, he didn't really have the hair for that, it was a little messy but it didn't stand a foot in the air. Maybe he should go with the truth (oh irony) and just say he was an alien and looking to leave. Yeah, that'd work. Or they'd throw him in prison. And while he COULD break out it always felt like kind of a dick move (mostly because him and his mother definitely DESERVED to be in prison, they'd looted so many burial sites he was worried the dead would remember him and kick his ass in the afterlife) so he'd probably have to like wait out his sentence. He groaned and pinched his nose, damnit, maybe they wouldn't know about all the grave-robbing. His wandering was somewhat terrifyingly interrupted by the approach of something or other.
Looking over, Kimon found himself blinking at the... girl... on all fours...
For a second, though it was an embarrassing one it was only the one, he wondered if Humans normally walked around like that and he'd been doing it wrong.
Needless to say, he soon caught on that this was an unusual encounter as she began to sniff his shoes and he was 99% certain that wasn't standard. So he was looking at a blue haired girl with a fairly prominent tail and ears so... not human? Maybe she was like another native species, I mean, some planets had a few sentient species that evolved and... wait, was she sentient? He didn't even know though judging by her face when she smelt his boot he wasn't winning much on the footwear department. He wanted to say he stepped in something unpleasent a few yards back but didn't think it'd really help him much. Still, rummaging in his bag, he tried to find some food. His satchel was pretty bland smelling but it insulated other scents pretty well (as he'd noticed when his mother left some rancid socks in it and he didn't find out for a while), he wondered what was inside and wound up looking down at the girl padding around him. He wasn't really sure what to make of her, she seemed pretty enough but judging by how she was moving she must be pretty strong too, it wasn't all that easy to crawl around on all fours. She didn't seem to realise he'd noticed her, which made Kimon feel clever until he realized she must have been following him for a while and he hadn't noticed.
Well, he was a treasure hunter not an animal hunter...
Digging through, he pulled out what looked like a flat pressed biscuit type item and unceremoniously snapped it to bits and hunkered down. He took a bite out of one bit and held another loosely in his other hand as he pondered what to do next. Was she sentient? Maybe not, she was acting pretty animalistic... still, no reason to be a jerk and food was pretty scarce on Earth. He held the spare piece out and smiled cheerily at her "Hey, you hungry?" Kimon asked, his tone of voice the standard "Who's a good girl, yesyouarrre" tone reserved for talking to strangers dogs. Sure it was a little weird this fox was shaped just like a human and appeared to be wearing nice clothing but maybe that was just Earth. Just another rock in space... and hey, maybe she could help him prove his 'alien'hood in the village by his complete confusion over what she was.

It was no doubt this specie was either a human or saiyan. Even though she can't distinguish who was who, who had a tail and who didn't, all she knew is that in her eyes, this man looked either one of the choices her mind kept repeating, and unfortunately, still had no prior knowledge of. But instead of Ume stopping her circling around the man, the furry still continued to keep on crawling about around him, still using on her all fours, with her tail flicking with curiosity. He looks clean, but I couldn't say much for the footwear.. Her mind went, as she stopped, twitching her nose. Do ALL species on this planet have this kind of foot scent? Seems a bit odd, but I swear, if everyone had this foot scent, it'd look like I wouldn't be able to walk on all fours for a while. Her mind continued to slowly rant again, as the furry's head turned from left to right. And the scent's already digging deeper in my nostrils..! Ume's head then whined.
As Ume stopped, she took some steps back away from the creature still with her eyes pinned onto him, the furry observed closely, as he was looking through his little bag. What was he looking for? Did the furry perhaps came in an odd entrance to him? Or, was he probably looking for some weapon, thinking Ume was some sort of threat already? Her head tilted slightly to the right with inquisitiveness. What's he going through his bag for..? She wondered. Ume then suddenly padded forward slowly right to the bag, as her nose sniffed the little, lime green bag. Well, at least this bag didn't have that horrid foot scent, so that was good news. But, the question of the man looking through his bag still remained a mystery to the furry. But already, she can tell she was already noticed by her little canine behavior.
Suddenly, it seems like the boy pulled out some sort of flattened item out from his bag. What is that? Ume wondered. She then observed closely again, as he broke it apart. And why is he breaking it? Her mind still continued to race with questioned. Ume wasn't used to any treats at all, at least not where she's from. She wasn't used to any other food source earth have or used to have. So in this situation, a little food source like a biscuit it seems, Ume knows nothing about. But, the furry does happen to eat mostly other animals that still crawl around this planet.
As he broke the biscuit into pieces, he then took a bite of one of the pieces. A suspicious look came to the furry's eyes, as he then offered the other piece with his other hand, giving a friendly smile to Ume, with the words:
"Hey, you hungry?"
Ume took some steps closer to the other piece of the biscuit that was in the boy's hand. It looked a little promising to the furry's eyes. But still, it didn't feel right to just eat something that she doesn't even know. What if this was poisoned, or something? But, the furry was ironically hungry, since she's been out here for quite a while. Even the taste of insects flying or crawling away didn't help. For the fact that she may physically seem like a fox, and mentally like a wolf or puppy, there were still some other animal traits mixed inside her. But, maybe it wouldn't hurt to try out this little food source the boy is offering.
Padding up to the boy's palm, she sniffed at the pieced biscuit for a moment. It also smelled promising. But, did it taste promising? Ume was taking her chances of eating this substance, only because of her hunger. It was now or never for her. Opening her jaws, she hovered her mouth over the spare piece of the biscuit. With her mouth only, she took a small bite of the biscuit, making tiny chewing movements. After swallowing the little bits, This tastes a little dry, but it tastes surprisingly good! Her mind raved with joy. She then decided to take another bite, happily eating the other piece of the biscuit left for her. Taking some steps back, Ume slowly crouched down for a moment, normally like a cat would, as if she was ready to jump. With a large grin stuck to her lips, with her tongue hanging out, panting like a playful puppy, she wagged her tail happily as she could again, as if she wanted more of what she was just fed.
Does he maybe have more of these little treats? Her mind questioned with curiosity. For a moment there, it looked like Ume was more focused on the treat she was given, than what she was actually trying to do, which was to actually get some help to distinguish what race is what. But for now, it seems like she was more interested to see if this person had anymore treats on him, or at try to talk to the male in a more civilized way.

Kimon's face lit up as she seemed to be happily devouring his offering and looked pleased with himself as she obliterated what was left of it. Well, she seemed friendly enough, which was a nice bonus. He checked the inside of his bag again, there wasn't much in it. He had a bit of that biscuit stuff left but that was about it, he frowned, had he always travelled this light? He should really consider just buying some stuff (or stealing it if his mother was anything to go by) but all he had was food which couldn't be THAT valuable. Still, as his sole bargaining chip he kinda wanted to keep hold of it. Maybe he could do some chores for the parts, the humans didn't seem too strong, maybe he could carry stuff for them? Ahhh, he was getting nowhere, best to just carry on. He held the last spare piece to his mouth and paused as his eye caught that of the fox-girl and he felt a faint twinge in his chest. He was hungry after all, it'd be stupid to deprive himself for no reason, especially since it was also a pretty important bargaining chip "There ya go girl" he said as he tossed the last piece towards her. He smiled to himself while inside he started ranting at himself "Idiot! You can't give away food to someone just because they're crawling around! She might just be crazy and her parents'll walk out and take away from the weirdo tossing her food and then it'll be jail time!" Kimon felt a twitch in his eyebrow as he wanted to tell his own inner voice to shut up and let him be a good person.
She certainly was an odd one this girl, she didn't seem afraid of him but he still had no idea how smart she actually was. He suspected smarter than he thought, though he was still struggling with the whole walking on all fours thing. He was running low on time, he didn't really want to fly back so he should probably pick up the pace if he wanted to make it to a human settlement before it started getting dark. He could probably just start moving a little faster, he'd only been walking but if he started running he ought to be able to avoid detection AND get there a little faster. He looked down to the blue haired fox-girl again and rubbed his head awkwardly, genuinely unsure if he should just leave or try and get her to follow him (how fast COULD she move on all fours? He had no idea...) but eventually decided he needed to get to the village if he had any chance of getting off this rock. Shutting his bag again, Kimon turned and smiled somewhat awkwardly to Ume
"I have to get going now, I need to find a village with some humans in it and there's one down this way. I have no idea what you are but it was nice meeting you" Kimon waved and started running in the direction of the village he'd been to before, vaulting over obstructions at a pace that would shame most humans. He didn't know anything about the Fox-girl so Kimon didn't expect her to follow him (even if he had inadvertently helped her on her mission) and was pretty content to just head along at his own pace. He managed to clear the barren copse of trees and landed on an outstretched rock formation, at the bottom was a small path leading to the village. He paused to get his bearings, he could just jump down but it'd be trickier jumping straight back up, he'd have to fly a bit. He didn't know how sophisticated the Saiyans scanners were so this was a bit more complicated "Hmmm... what should I do..." Kimon mused to himself, biting his thumb as he thought.
It was a nice enough view, this felt kind of like a wildlife reservation, there wasn't very much around at all. He saw a few extra houses outlying and he kept his eyes on the skies for the tell tale glimmer of Ki. He really should learn to sense energies, he wasn't very good at suppressing his to begin with so he was always worried he'd get rumbled by the Saiyans scanning for it. Glancing behind him, Kimon thought about the fox again. Maybe she was actually, like, a native and this was her little home patch and he'd invaded. Though he kind of assumed that information about Earth would be more general knowledge... it was like the Saiyan's base planet nowadays. Hands now in his pockets he glanced up again, it'd be a few hours until sunset at least. What was his next plan?

"There ya go girl"
The furry watched as the boy gave her another, or what it seems to be, a last piece of the treat Ume was fed before. Her eyes glowed with excitement, as she was given the last piece. But, as she picked up the last piece using her mouth, it felt like for some reason she shouldn't really take or. Or at least, that's what her mind was telling her. Should I really consider taking this? It feels like I really shouldn't. She thought. Looking back at the person who gave her another piece, she really felt like she shouldn't take this for some reason. It was of course, her canine senses got the best of her. Ume wasn't really the sort of furry to give in like that, just for another one of those dry things she was fed. The furry had to admit, though. Although it tasted mostly dry, at the same time it was sweet, and a little salty. She would try to beg again if this person had anymore on him, even though Ume didn't really take one single bite off of the one she has on her just now. Lowering her head down, as the biscuit was still carried by her teeth, she carefully placed the biscuit right in front of her, but closely.
She felt like these dry treats, or whatever they're suppose to be called, got the best of Ume, making her forget her intention of padding herself up to this boy. Ume can already tell as if she gave off an odd look to the boy's eyes. But, who can expect a lot from someone like this furry? Someone who clearly has almost no knowledge about any other race, someone who can't tell the difference between specifically a human and a saiyan, or any other race who might be on here, someone who doesn't know much of the history of this planet, or what's going on right now, and there are actually probably more things that can be listed of how she couldn't be expected much as she would be. She was animal, in her eyes. Literally an animal. Someone who was once a human, but didn't even realize or remember, or even know it. Someone who could stayed here on earth, and be like any other human. But, she wasn't. She was someone who was just half human, half animal. With that idea being brought to her, her tail then dropped to the ground, stopping its swishing motions, with her ears lowered, and a frown calling over, lowering her head down to herself.
"I have to get going now, I need to find a village with some humans in it and there's one down this way. I have no idea what you are but it was nice meeting you"
Immediately before the furry even knew it, her head shot back up in interest, with her ears shooting back up too, along with her tail, going back into its swishing motion. Humans? And a village? Sounds like I should also tag along for some help, then. Her mind went, as a smile formed back on her face. If this man knew where the village filled with humans were located, it was obvious to Ume that she should tag along. Since the topic of a village with humans were brought up to the furry's head, she knew she needed to tag along. She wanted to learn the environments of the areas the humans lived in, and can maybe get some information on these so called saiyans and their environments. That way, if she's ever going to be stuck on this planet, which wasn't obvious to the furry that she is actually stuck here for a long, long period of time, she can at least get herself up to date on what's happening. With that being said, probably she can at least try to get along, or try to ask what the boy was first. She was still lost on trying to figure out what race was what, and how can someone easily distinguish it, especially someone who has little knowledge on earth.
As Ume's mind began to speak to her, she then noticed as she was waved at, then the boy started to run off to the path that the village was headed. Quickly picking up the little biscuit piece she was given, she shoved it in one of her little pockets on her little kimono outfit, on one of her sides. I should catch up before I lose him.. Maybe he can be help with what I need! She thought. But, Ume thought she shouldn't used her all fours to catch up with the boy. Or, just with this pace. It'd be best off to do this with her legs only. Pushing herself up on only her two feet now, she began to follow the boy's path. As she kept following, she noticed there were many groved plants, as she followed. Ume still had no idea what were plants, or what were the planet's plants. Her eyes went from left to right, as she saw these little plants. I didn't know there would be little versions of these things... She thought. Although she wasn't really ahead or to tag to the boy's speed, she was actually able to keep up with this trail(Since Kimon is a point ahead in speed on Ume, stat wise).
Finally, Ume was able to catch up with the boy, on an expanded rock formation. Right there, was the furry, still behind him. In this case, Ume was currently walking to the boy, panting heavily a little. "H-Hey..!" She called, as she then reached to the boy, standing right beside him, beginning her little speech. "Before I can tell why I followed you here, you should take this.." She started, as she dug in one of her little kimono pockets, pulling out the little peace of biscuit that was given to her. "I know you might be probably hungry right now, whether or not if you already had more food along with the way here and whatever.. b-but just in case though, right? I-I.. I mean.. I-I know I'm an animal and such but.. I know, I'm very grateful for you giving me your little treats and whatever, I really am... but.." She kept on tripping over her words. After how Ume approached to the boy before, she just felt embarrassed which did make herself red a little. Instead of walking on two feet, she walked on four. Especially when she needed some assistance. But from that, the response if the boy would take back this biscuit would still remain a mystery to Ume for now.
Now, it was time for Ume to explain her intentions. "Oh.. a-and sorry if I.. startled or scared you a little.. You know.. on my fours and everything.. Natural habit... I know I shouldn't of approached like that.." She started off, still tripping over her words, looking away for a minute. "First... I wanna say... m-my name's U-U-..Ume, i-in case you were wondering.. Ahaha... Uh.. I-..I followed you because I also needed or wanted to come to this.. Village, you spoke of. I'm kind of having some trouble trying to distinguish who's a human a-and... who's a saiyan. I know, I know, it may sound completely stupid, but you see.. I'm not really you know... a-around this planet or anything, I can leave it at that.. A-And all.. But, what I'm trying to get at here.. is that, I need to gain some knowledge about earth and its history, and what's going on now, and I was wondering if you can help me.. I-If you don't mind, that is..! But, I really need some help around here... s-so.. A-And it would be great if you can tell me who.. and WHAT you are.. maybe that can be a great help to me..!" She called, still having her face flushed with redness, as she was actually embarrassed for still tripping over her words, and still remembering of how she first "greeted" the boy, with her voice still trembling. Though, if he was willing to help Ume, then she would be very grateful, and maybe and hopefully help out with his doings. But right now, Ume awaited for an answer.

Kimon jumped with surprise at the approach of the fox girl again and barely managed to stifle a yell as he awkwardly posed on one leg with his arms clenched, where the heck had she come from!? He`d been going pretty fast, how had she managed to catch up so quickly? Oh wait, was she on two legs now? Kimon took the time to properly look at his recently made friend and realised she was a lot more human than he first thought from her stance, maybe she just liked walking around on four legs and two was reserved for special occasions? Either way, Kimon was about to ask her what was wrong (possibly involving a young boy falling down a well) when she spoke up in greeting and his jaw dropped once again. She could talk! Well, that was embarrassing! Still, he listened to her politely enough, not freaking out much after his initial shock and felt at least a small amount of guilt for thinking she was just an animal, she sounded like a perfectly intelligent young woman even if she was sniffing his feet earlier. The only brief pause was a sweat drop running down the side of Kimon`s face as she said she knew she was an animal and he thought to himself "Ummm, Animals don`t normally stand on two legs and talk..." but his did his best not to let his face betray his reaction. Still, he understood her feelings, she was trying to return the extra food to him and naturally Kimon couldn`t just take it. What kind of jerk would just take it back straight and gobble it up? Taking a hold of the biscuit, Kimon looked at what they had left and with a faint smile snapped it neatly in half and held out half to her "How about this? I have half and you have half? It`s OK, my mom told me to share with people in need" which was an absolutel bald-faced lie, Tsu had told him the exact OPPOSITE, he was to keep everything for himself and if anyone asked for some he gave them "five-finger discipline" until they knew their place. Or at least that was how Tsu did things, and Kimon grew up with many a handprint to show it. It was up to her if she ate the biscuit he was holding out but he snarfed the remaining half as quickly as he could for the extra energy.
So the girl`s name was Ume? Nice name. Kimon smiled at her stumbling over words, it was kinda cute in a "holy crap, a talking dog" kind of way if the dog wasn`t too confident on the grammar but damn was that dog good at English, ain`t no reason to be shy. Kind of an exact example there, but still. He also understood her feelings about not being able to tell them apart, the whole Human Saiyan thing wasn`t helped by the fact they looked really really similar but there were a few differences. Ironically, if she was using Kimon as a base for scents, he was likely to make everything that much more confusing with his explanation. It concluded with a perfectly polite and ordinary request for help and an inquiry as to who or what he was. Blinking, Kimon pointed to himself and said, with absolute bluntness "Me? I`m an Alien" which was technically true, since the unknowing hybrid had been born in space "My name`s Kimon, it`s nice to meet you Ume. Don`t worry about the whole all fours thing, I`ve seen stranger. Though, uhh, humans might react funnier so maybe not in front of them" He was more thinking if he walked through town with a girl on all fours he might look like a pervert of some variety and that was never the best foot to get off on in a new town "But, yeah, if you want some company I need to see if the humans can sell me parts for my ship so we can explore the village together. I don`t really know much about humans other than they don`t have tails and they don`t have the incredibly tough wiry hair the saiyans do. Ahhh! Got it! If it looks like a sea urchin on a man`s body wearing a turtle with a monkey tail it`s a saiyan, if it`s a skinny tailless wuss who runs away from you for flying then it`s a human! Simple!" In very broadstrokes that was kind of how the galactic community saw Earth, humans were wimpy low power level weaklings and the Saiyans were hairy smelly man demons.
Though tapping his chin, Kimon was struggling to remember exactly WHAT he knew about Earth`s history "If I remember right, Earth was taken over about a 100 years ago? By some Roditt guy. Saiyans just kept control ever since then. It`s pretty bad here, most of the galaxy is afraid of the Saiyans but a lot of outerlying planets aren`t worth conquering yet so we`re still fine out that way. I think they`re still fighting those Icer guys so it`s pretty safe further out. Do you remember where you`re from?" Kimon stepped out to the cliff edge and hopped down as he asked, falling the couple of feet down to the bottom and landing with a light tap of his boots as he crossed his legs and half expected her to follow him down the same way. "I think if we ask the villagers we can find out more useful information for you" Kimon added with a grin as he continued their route to the village.
He was actually pretty happy, aside from being just all kinds of saccharine adorable, Ume seemed like a genuinely good person and that was always a bonus when you were technically alone and stranded on a terrifying alien world where monkey tailed people tried to murder you despite the fact YOU also have a monkey tail, meeting a girl with a tail was actually pretty heartening in that kind of scenario. Kimon decided he was at least going to make sure Ume got her answers, he might not get his ship parts but she could at least get her questions answered.

"Me? I`m an Alien"
An alien..? I'd have to say, he doesn't look like one. He looks more.. "Normal" to me. Ume thought. She wouldn't really have much of a cause to protest how he doesn't LOOK like an alien. Before the furry even had a purpose of being on this planet, she didn't see aliens looking like the boy would. Back at her "home", she would see the typical type of alien, with a different skin complex, wackly hair or whatever, foreign clothes, so on and so forth. And he's so frank about it too.. Her mind went. It wouldn't make much of a difference if he were to say if he was either a saiyan or human right off the bat, but straightforward for the fact that's he's an alien, which gave Ume some shock. Yet, the furry herself could of said she was an alien, in between in her little explanation, but she rather classified herself as an animal, much more than actually knowing that she's also a human. But, nobody, not even the furry herself, knew that. But for some reason, Ume acknowledged this alien for being more straightforward than to play it around. If Ume was a full human, who grew up on earth, the outcome would be different, yes?
"My name`s Kimon, it`s nice to meet you Ume. Don`t worry about the whole all fours thing, I`ve seen stranger. Though, uhh, humans might react funnier so maybe not in front of them"
"Nice name, Kimon! And it's nice to meet you too." Ume greeted, as she bowed her head down, then looked back up. The name Kimon did remind the furry of some sort of clothing fashion, typically a kimono, which she was wearing. As much as Ume would love to point that up, just to get a good laugh out of herself, she wouldn't. Not only she would be awkward with her little "joke", but she would think she was just making fun of the alien. "Oh, I think I can tell. I guess I can walk on all my fours only for special occasions, I believe." She said. Of course, she can walk on her own two feet, but since she can have her little canine moments, there can probably some situations she would just on her fours, and crawl off, as if she was an actual dog, and sniff around.
"But, yeah, if you want some company I need to see if the humans can sell me parts for my ship so we can explore the village together. Simple!"
He has a ship..? Hah, I guess I can ask to use his ship when my mission's done so I can try to go back home when he gets his ship all worked up or whatever. Ume's mind went. She didn't really plan to stay on this planet much longer. There was a downside to that, though. If it took a year for Ume to travel to this planet, it would probably take a year again to try to get to her home, and the furry doesn't really have much patience for a ride like that, like her little trip to this planet. What really caught Ume's attention how Kimon, or from his view, at least what the furry thought, told the difference between a human and a saiyan. Surely as expected, creatures like sea urchins remain a mystery to the furry. Ume didn't really have much knowledge of sea animals, except for probably fishes, squids, whatever, and probably a turtle. She really do need some information on other animals too, maybe. But, what made Ume understand clearly, was overall Saiyan, if she's correct, are the ones that have those long, probably spike monkey tails, while humans don't have tails. What got Ume really excited though, for the fact that she's not not the only with a tail! What luck is that? But, it's probably the ears that could stand Ume out, unfortunately.
"If I remember right, Earth was taken over about a 100 years ago? By some Roditt guy. Saiyans just kept control ever since then. It`s pretty bad here, most of the galaxy is afraid of the Saiyans but a lot of outerlying planets aren't worth conquering yet so we`re still fine out that way. I think they`re still fighting those Icer guys so it`s pretty safe further out. Do you remember where you`re from?"
So, some sort of Saiyan pops in out of no where, and just invaded this planet with the other rest of the race? Seems like the Saiyans are the rulers around here. Also, this made Ume assume the humans were once the rulers. But, can they really be that powerful? And the Icers? The furry was still lost on what's happening, except for the part where the Saiyans are now controlling earth. "Oh... Well, lucky for me, I didn't live on a planet, that's been taken over by those, what you call, "Saiyans", or didn't even live on a planet, period. I lived in space, inside a comfy ship. I was informed about saiyans, humans, and other races being on this planet, but I never knew the Saiyans took over this planet..." Ume responded, softly scratching her left fox ear
"I think if we ask the villagers we can find out more useful information for you"
Or at least hope they don't get a bad impression from my appearance when we see them... Ume thought to herself. The moment she comes to the village looking as she is, she knew she'd get some negative attention. But hopefully, maybe she can get some more useful information, and glad someone was generous enough to help Ume out, which was something she also admired. As the furry spoke, she watched at Kimon jumped down from the cliff's edge, and landed safely, only just a few feet high. I'm not good with heights in this position, but I guess this can be good enough.. Her mind spoke, as the furry bent her knees down a little, springing herself up in the air, off from the cliff's edge.
The furry's landing didn't work out so smoothly like Kimon's. Instead, Ume landed right on her arse, with both of her knees extended upwards in front of her. Her fox ears then twitched a little as she went down during her flight. "I'm okay..." Ume mumbled, as she got up to her two feet, as she then followed the alien. For once, Ume is getting actual assistance around this planet, which was shocking. She was expecting more of an... unusual look reaction. The type where you'd be surrounded by curiosity, which was something the furry really wouldn't enough. She was at least just getting some help, so she was truly grateful, she was, and try to repay this alien back by helping him with some ship parts. It was the least to show the furry's gratitude.

Kimon's face briefly contorted as he saw the poor girl land flat on her backside and reached out to help before she said she was OK and turned the motion into an awkward head rub. They were probably the only two aliens on the whole planet so Kimon was going to do his best to be a good friend to the only person who knew anything about the galactic community, even if she'd spent most of it on a ship. He kind of wanted to ask her what species she was, as in, which planet did she come from but he also wasn't sure it'd be all that polite given that he had no idea where he came from. She seemed pretty nice so far, I mean her customs were different but that applied to just about anyone he met who was from space so he couldn't judge her TOO harshly. At the very least she hadn't tried to kill him yet or bow and cower at his feet. He checked to make sure his tail was still tucked away. He wouldn't mind having it out around Ume but he felt the villagers wouldn't like it, it did look a little Saiyan-ish. Once he was sure she could follow easily, Kimon started tracking his way off towards the village with a slight spring in his step. Weirdly enough, due to his slightly odd standard, he was seeing Ume as more normal than the humans for being able to keep up with him physically, rather than think he was extraordinary he just thought humanity was a little sub-par. Maybe they were just malnourished, he hadn't spotted very much food yet. He frowned a little, that was... kinda worrying actually. How DID the humans feed themselves? I mean, he'd seen farms but all that food seemed like it was set for Saiyans and was pretty... protein heavy. Did the humans really have nothing to eat? Shaking his head to clear the image, Kimon found they were getting pretty close to the village. It was pretty typical of Earth design, big white domes with connecting rooms, sort of like igloos in his head. He could see a couple square buildings too and a few shop signs but he was pretty rusty at reading Earth's script, he'd need a bit of time to get his head in gear in order to read them. Everything seemed pretty quiet though, Kimon noted as he wandered around and looked at various buildings as if he was trying to find some sign of habitation. He was sure that people lived here but where had they got to? He scratched his head in curiousity, he couldn't sense energy (which was a trick he needed to learn really) but he was pretty good at spotting people. Had they all just gone to work or something? He turned to Ume and seemed slightly put out " Ummm, maybe we should split up and look for people... I can't see anyone but they must live here, right?" Logically, it was a village after all... they must have people around here. Hopping up onto a box, Kimon clambered onto the roof of a building and looked around with one hand shielding his eyes, he frowned, this was... odd. " Hellooooooo? Anyone here?" he shouted, looking somewhat... put out by the experience. This' be embarrassing after he told Ume he'd help her find some answers if the village was completely empty. He tapped his chin with a finger and wondered where they could have gone... ((OOC: This is more because I'm unsure how much control over the villagers we can do as NPCs so just saying it's empty for now until I hear back ))

Ume mind kept dancing about, as she followed Kimon. She couldn't wait to get some more information about these races from the humans. But, she was worried for what the reaction she might get when she comes in, with the ears and tail thing. She doesn't have anything to cover them whatsoever, and doesn't even know how to cover them exactly. She wasn't aware of accessories such as hats or whatever. She doesn't have any pants to tuck her large, bushy tail in, or have anything to cover her fox-like ears, not even a hat. At least she wouldn't be mistaken as a saiyan, which was the good part. The furry didn't have a monkey tail, but more of a fox's tail, but that wouldn't even mean that Ume would be safe. Oh, the possibilities of getting a first view from other humans. What really kept on getting into the furry was how she got the reaction from Kimon when she first approached him. She was half expecting some sort of scared-ish reaction. But, since he's an alien as he claimed to be, and saying he saw worse, maybe that was different from what the furry was thinking.
Ume was still greatful for having someone helping her out, just of how she was going to show her gratitude by helping him with his ship parts. It looked like the two finally arrived to the settlement. Nothing but the feeling of emptiness. There's barely any creature at sight. So much for getting some information... Ume thought, with a small, soft sigh. There were many constructions in this area, yet no human in sight of the area. And that, was when Kimon turned to the furry, saying,
"Ummm, maybe we should split up and look for people... I can't see anyone but they must live here, right?"
"Oh... R-Right!" Ume replied, shifting her smile back on her face, with confidence, but the furry didn't really like the idea of splitting up. This settlement looks quite big. Not actually very large, but big. She didn't want to lose touch of the alien, even though she doesn't know him that well, but it was either that, or at least stay uninformed about earth, and getting deeper into its species that lives here, as well as getting used to the environments and sorts, but Ume didn't really like the idea of splitting up overall, but they needed to find someone around here, at leastI'm sure the place isn't abandoned, though... Her mind spoke, as she decided to go on her all her fours, trailing off. When it sometimes comes for search games like these, she just can't help but to go into her canine position. However, As having Ume having the ability to sense energy, she felt none at all, for some sort, unless her mind must be messing with her. Just like what she did before, her nose was close to the ground, as Ume began sniffing, hoping for some sight of a creature preaching around here somewhere.
[Note: I think we can have control some NPC Villagers, but just not a whole lot of them. Then again, I'm not so sure. ^^]

The lack of people was certainly disconcerting, Kimon frowned as he looked down to see how Ume was doing in her search which was... well, she was searching exactly how he assumed she would by sniffing the ground and walking around on all fours. His eyebrows twitched slightly at the sight, if the villagers turned to just be hiding this wouldn't help their appearance. Though, thinking on it, maybe sitting on the roof of one of their houses wouldn't give the BEST of impressions... scratching his head awkwardly, Kimon clambered up slightly higher and opting to go for the more obvious route, levitated slightly into the air so he could get a better look at the area. He folded his arms and tilted his head to one side as he looked, a frown traced across his face as he stared out to the horizon. He could see a few awkward bumps in the fields that looked notably... suspicious. He squinted and tried to focus on them... were they... mini-hiding holes? He scratched the back of his head in contemplation before he floated back down to the ground and went to where he last saw Ume. Stumbling upon her again he wasn't sure how to phrase the next conversation " Hey! You found anything? So, uhh, I kinda found something interesting but it's a while away. It's just out that way, it looks like weird bumps in the ground. I'm just gonna go get a look at them and come right back, see ya in a sec" Mustering energy in his feet, Kimon rocketted up into the air in a blur of motion and ki as he streaked across the sky and landed in a crouch in front of one of the weird bumps. Well it was certainly... stranger up close. He glanced at the village, he probably should have carried her with him or something, it was kinda rude to invite her along and keep wandering off on his own... He'd better apologise when he got back. The bump itself looked like a hill but with a very obvious door which Kimon, after only a few seconds contemplation, kicked in and walked easily through. The scurry of motion and a few muffled cries let him know he was in an inhabited place. He cocked an eyebrow and shouted " Uhhh, hi? Anyone home" "We're sorry master, please, don't punish our insolence" " I think you have me... confused..." Kimon was thoroughly baffled now " Are you guys humans? Me and my friend need some help, I need ship parts and she needs a history lesson, can you guys help us out?" the fearful people slowly poked their heads round and noticed the distinctly human looking young man "Y-you aren't a Saiyan? But you broke down the door so easily!" " Well, yeah, I eat my greens" Kimon said, still not getting what the big deal was with kicking an iron gate down. The people had a brief whispered conversation before asking "We beg your pardon, but could you help us? The saiyans are due to come today to collect new slaves so we're hiding here. Some of the children were out playing when we heard and they would only be coming back now. Could you please bring them here?" " Wait, Saiyans are coming now? Ahh, crap, Ume!" without even replying, Kimon stepped outside and shot back into the air as he went back to the village as fast as he could. He landed on a buildings roof in a screech of boots and hopped down to the ground with a thump. He looked around furtively, trying to find the blue tailed fox girl and see what she was doing " Ume! Are you here? We gotta get moving!" It was harsh but Kimon was thinking of him and his new friend first, if they had time they could look for the kids but he ranked her above some strangers, if just for the worth of a companion who knew what a spaceship was. Slightly frantically, he began searching the village, his inability to sense energy meaning he failed to pinpoint his erstwhile companion. ((OOC: I left it vague so Ume could have found the kids if you like ))

"Hey! You found anything? So, uhh, I kinda found something interesting but it's a while away. It's just out that way, it looks like weird bumps in the ground. I'm just gonna go get a look at them and come right back, see ya in a sec"
"Huh?" Ume asked, as she lifted her head up, pausing her search for a moment. "All I found here are some broken shards and the smell of no hope." She replied with a chuckle. It wouldn't really be that funny, especially on how she learned how the humans are currently living in. As she thought about what she said for a moment, Ume flicked her head back with emarassment, and shame at the same time. "N-Nevermind what I just said... I found nothing.." She mumbled, with a stutter.
Kimon also mentioned he found something which is a little far away. What was is exactly did he find? Interesting, is it? Her mind wondered, which was followed up with said bumps in the ground. Bumps...? I want to check it out now.. But, I think I should just stick to my own search for now.. But I'm just so curious right now.. But, I musn't... Her mind kept switching responses as she thought, but easily, all she did was responding with a nod to Kimon, as he then blasted off in the air. Surely at first, Ume looked surprised, as he rocketed himself in the air, luckily she was taught finely on what ki is. Now, it was time to go back to her own search.
As Ume continued her search, it wasn't long before the furry wandered off far from the area she was in before, not only that, but a sense of energy flew to the furry. Her ears perked up, straight up and high to the skies. I sense someone! And not just one person either! Her mind went, as she made a little gasp. The energy she felt didn't seem all large, but small instead. Were they children or something? Well, whatever it is, I better act now or never, before I lose their trail! Her mind kept going. Jumping up on her two feet, she began darting off her way, following the energy that was brought to her.
Corner by corner, alley by alley she went. Just then, in another dark alley she entered, Ume heard a cry. A cry that echoed in the alley. It sounded like an infants cry, along with silent whimpering behind the cries. I'm definitely close now...! She thought, as she sprinted a little. Just then, as she traveled along the alleys, Ume stopped, as she found herself with at least three children. All three of them were all boys, cornered up around a trashcan. With curiosity, the furry approached to the cowered kids surrounding the trash cans. It looked like all of them were currently on the grounds, sleeping. Probably they were just weeping in their sleep, but what on this planet are these children doing here? What are they doing here, laying down on the ground...? Her mind asked.
"Ume! Are you here? We gotta get moving!"
It was a faint tone the furry heard, but enough to recognize the alien's voice. Sounds like Kimon... I better get a move on... But, I can't just leave these kids alone! Her mind went. Ume knew she needed to find their parents, but how exactly can she carry them? She knew she can't carry all three of them at once. Ume then looked around to what was around her. There was actually a large box sitting right behind the trashcan, large enough to fit a few objects.. or PEOPLE inside it. Hm.
[Note: And done ^^ And maybe one of the Saiyans that are arriving would find Ume off in a little alley and would try to abduct the children Ume was trying to get to safety of? If that works with you, that is. x3]
