Malachi understood that Tido wanted this fight to himself. The tone and direction of his voice had told the boy that. As soon as he saw Broc take Tido's next attack without flinching Malachi realized just how difficult this fight was going to be. If Tido couldn't put enough into a blow to make the general flinch, then creating an opening for Malachi to land a couple of key strikes would be almost impossible. Drawing out the fight wasn't to their advantage, and the longer things went on the more children would be captured and taken from their families. If it did come down to that, though, Malachi had a plan. His knife hand jab technique and his speed together might be able to inflict some flesh wounds on Broc. It wouldn't slow him down immediately, but after losing enough blood the general would start to falter and maybe even eventually fall unconscious. At that point the end result would be obvious.
But that was in a worst case scenario. Malachi's eyes widened in shock, which most would have considered odd since he was blind, but it was hard to show expression without eye movement. There was only so much you could convey with mouth positions. He groaned as the explosion from that punch pelted him with rubble. The spire started to crumble more after the initial impact and Malachi heard Winta say it was a bad idea to stay on the tower while also offering him a lift. The human wasn't so foolish as to turn down the opportunity since being at the top or bottom of a pile of rubble that had fallen a hundred or so feet was a bad deal either way. He leaped up and took Winta's offering of a lift. He held the energy on his fingers for his technique, not wanting to waste it. He kept his energy usage to a minimum, though. "Winta! How the hell do we fight something like that?" Malachi didn't expect Broc to hear him ask Winta that, let alone be paying attention to himself and Winta since they hadn't visibly done anything to attack him.

(I decided Tido still fell. It required immediate reaction.)
The sour inevitability of his fall began to take form as Tido etched ever closer to the hard ground. Knowing that his only option was a quick release of Ki, he put both hands forward and released a short blast of nearly invisible Ki that would rocket him backwards, saving him from the fatal connection face first into the ground, but still causing him injury to his back and elbow. (Like the last post)
"Sometimes I forget just how strong I am!"
Broc said with a laugh. He had failed to notice the slowed effect and simply assumed that Tido had moved out of the way. This had potential to be a good thing for the allied forces.

Winta scowled as he flew himself and Malachi to one of the openings in the spire, he had hoped that perhaps he would be quick enough to grab Malachi and still have time to save Tido but unfortuantely that simply was not the case, with all that had been happening he had made the choice to grab Malachi first, unlike Tido Malachi was far less likely to know the true risks of what they were doing, he was certainly prepared for battle even if perhaps he now doubted there chances against Broc but even still Winta could not allow himself to abandon the boy in order to save Tido, he had been the one to bring Malachi into this and he would be certain that Malachi at the very least had the best opportunity to escape it if that became necessary. Presently they merely needed to escape the crumbling tower, and draw Broc into a situation where they could force a retreat.
This was no longer a battle that could truly be 'won' as far as Winta was concerned, it was merely a battle of survival until they did enough damage to the general to force an early retreat, preferably one before too many of the children were taken. Winta pulled himself and Malachi through the air and out of the spire his psychic energies still focused on Malachi and Broc. "We need to out smart him, out manuver him, use his power against him. He's got plenty of it to throw around and has no qualms using it, he's already caused enough structural damage to the Spire that I don't actually believe it will remain standing for much longer." Winta said as he cast a brief gaze at Tido. The man was relatively safe, though Winta could see he was rather badly injured. By how he was holding his arm Winta was fairly sure it was fractured at best, broken at worst. Tido was likely out of commission for the rest of this battle and that put Winta in a VERY bad position. Seeing what Broc had done to the spire meant he had no intention of making Malachi take up the front line against Broc.
Winta let out a heavy sigh but did his best to his his grave expression, he didn't actually know that Malachi wouldnt be able to see it even if he made no effort to hid it. 'This is very bad, we can only do so much and I don't even know Malachi's capabilities.' Winta thought to himself as they floated outside the spire. "Malachi, I have a plan. it's not a particularly... good.. plan for myself but it is the best option we have. I want you to deal with the abductions, save as many children as possible, help against the saiyans that are making the abduction easier. I'll deal with the general and buy you as much time as I can. He's not aware of what I can do and I'm certain I'm smart enough to outmaneuver him." Winta said with a cocky but almost hollow laugh. Already he was leavitating himself and Malachi to the more structurally stable part of the Spire. "This part should hold up for more than long enough for you to get down to them. Just follow the stairs and it will take you to the courtyard." Winta said levitating the teen down onto the stairway. While Winta had phrased everything in such a way to leave Malachi the option to refuse in truth there would be little he could do to stop it, if Malachi was strong enough to resist Winta telekinesis it would simply result in speeding up his descent to the stairs. Going up the stairway to follow Winta would lead him directly to the crumbling mess. "Good luck Malachi, and perhaps if we make it out of this we should meet up again. The settlement is where I presently live so If we make it out of this I imagien we will run into one another again." Winta said with a heavy sigh as he released his telekinetic hold over Malachi.
And with that Winta steeled himself for his next move, he once again took to the sky flying quickly but certainly not at his top speed. His destination was for Broc's last location, his telekenetic hold over the ape was still in place meaning that he likely had not moved far if at all. When Winta caught sight of the General he allowed himself a slight smirk, if only because he recognized just how idiotic he was for doing what it was he was about to do. He raised a hand pinting a single finger at the ape, and launched a Iccan Lance at the generals back, hoping that perhaps the general would be so enthralled over his 'victory' that he would simply assume that he and Malachi had run off because of Tido's defeat. As the blast left him all Winta could really think of was the fact that he really really regretted the decision to split himself and Aice up in order to spread there power, not because he specifically wanted Aice here for battle, Winta surprisingly found himself actually just wanting his ally.. no.. his friend here, if the attack against the general did not succeed it was almost entirely certain that the next few moments would be incredibly painful and very likely be his last.

Running as fast as he could muster Aice craved a path straight from the slums into the heart of the Saiyan's city in hopes of arriving in time to assset Winta in is struggles. No doubt that the fight had already begun without him, but he had loose strings he had to tie up else where luckily he hadn't sustained any damage before arriving. He would need all the energy he had if he was going to make it out of here alive. Approaching the concer of the street, Aice pivoted on his heel allowing him to turn on to the next street with ease. During his run the spire grew ever larger with each passing minute, with is so close now it loomed over all of city a symbol of fear and oppression too all humans that layed eyes on it. Now with the walls that surrounded the spire insight Aice could began to hear all the commotion being from behind the walls as child by the bushel load where pulled into the sky towards the strange light source. With no time to spare Aice sprung off from the ground rocketing himself in the sky, still not knowing what he was up against Aice decided that it was best to remain un-seen. Fading from others vision Aice landed on to of the wall. The sea of people, Saiyan's ripping children away from their families, explosions, crying, it was all happening so fast Aice barely anytime to fully absorb the full situation. It was a strange mixture of fear, hope, and anger that filled up Aice, he was proud that his people were fighting back but also afraid of what might follow. "Everything is balanced on this one moment in history... we cannot fail."Taking the scouter out from his pocket Aice scanned across the field of people, he was trying to find out what he was up against here. The worst thing he could do was to jump into the middle of a fight without any knowledge of what was to come. Numbers flashed across the screen as the device began to point him too numerous people, filtering out the weakest power level Aice managed to find the strongest people in the area. The scouter pointed by the gate and higher up on spire, looking up Aice spotted Winta flying around the spire as two people fought with each other. Suddenly the scouter began to go crazy with the new data it was getting from one of the two combatants, Aice was by what the result told him, he hopped that who ever the power belonged to that they were on his side. "The power coming from up there is amazing! Whoever they are they must be the strongest person on the planet... fuck. Well i hope they're on our side." Aice laughed to himself. Even so he now knew where he had to go if he wanted to be in the real fight, placing the scouter back in his pants Aice took off from the wall landing in the crowd of people. Since Aice had trained for so long running in and out of crowds just like this it was quite easy for him to clear the distance between wall and spire. Reaching the spire at full speed Aice placed his foot of the surface of the wall and ran a ways up it's length before his moumetem ran out. Taking grip on to the side of the structure Aice was able to get a good footing, all he had to do now was too keep climbing hopefully it wouldn't take too long to reach Winta. "Alright one hand hold at a time and don't look down." Aice thought nervously.

A lot was going through the boy's mind at this point. Having witnessed the true strength of the Saiyan General and seeing so many innocent lives being stripped away from their parents without any cause other than the saiyan's thirst to subjugate and use humans as work horses... It made his blood boil with anger. How could people like the Namekians exist in the same universe where scum like the Saiyans also existed? Who were they to come and take what didn't belong to them and then enslave the previous owners?
Winta's words about helping the people down below sounded reasonable enough to Malachi. The blind young man was still holding the energy of his technique on his fingers, and when Winta dropped him to the floor he took off sprinting down the stairs towards the courtyard. With the spire crumbling he doubted anyone would be in the immediate vicinity of the spire, so he would have to seek out the first Saiyan in the courtyard from the staircase exit and commence to fighting.
And that's exactly what he did. No hesitation, no second thoughts...the young man charged in and delivered a series of swift jabs to the back of an unsuspecting soldier, piercing his armor and putting two or three inch deep puncture wounds in his back. The raw physical strength Malachi had wasn't anywhere near enough for his Knife Hand Jab to pierce all the way through unless he hit a spot where there was only soft tissue like the stomach or the neck. He couldn't pierce bone. Still, damaging muscle tissue, causing bleeding, and causing extensive pain would hopefully get the saiyans to turn their attention from the children. After putting three holes in the back of the first Saiyan, one of them nicking his kidney as Malachi had caught him by surprise, he turned to the next closest Saiyan and threw a quick blast at his feet to send dust towards his face and create a small cloud of smoke to use as cover.
Attacking from the front would be a mistake, even with the advantage of visible cover. He rushed out of the smoke to one side and then slid across the ground behind the Saiyan, jabbing the back of his knee with his Knife Hand Jab technique. But it was likely now that he'd gotten the attention of more than just the ones he'd attacked. He wasn't sure what he could do to overcome them all, seeing as the element of surprise was the only thing giving him an advantage on the first two. Now not only had he lost that advantage, but he was at an extreme disadvantage of numbers. There were many of them and only one of him. He may have injured a couple, but there were at least four others close enough to attack him immediately and many others who could see him and rush to aid the others if need be.

~Four~Simultaneously four different situations were gripping the crippling spire as it fell. The collapse of the tower was a victory they had not intended nor would the saiyans soon forget. Even though it had been one of their own to cause the damage, its impression was a small beacon of hope. The depredation that came next however would begin to systematically tare down what hope they had achieved. First of course was the arrival of Aice, who had abandoned the village to seek out his allies. Perhaps the only positive turn of events thus far for the human resistance. Now however the village was without protection, and would likely be subjected to the torments of saiyan cruelty. This was arguably unavoidable as Aice's assistance was realistically needed. His scouter would read only one thing. The explosion of Broc's first attack which would beep loudly and read Control level 18His arrival would not impact the immediate fight however, not yet. Tido looked up from his position on the cold ground. He could see the tower breaking a part, and slowly, piece by piece, crashing into the ground preceding him. Pushing on his left elbow he was able to sit up, the seizing pain in his back and opposing arm proving more than he was able to handle. Cringing and letting out a light whimper the warrior was in a bind. He wanted more than anything to stand up and fight once more, but he was in no position to do so. While the man fought the pain and considered his options time would not stand still and his allies would be forced to fight on without him. Winta engaged in a rather unexpected manner. With his ki already utilized in fighting against the saiyan by slowing his movements, it was more than a little impressive that he could also maintain flight and above all else fire his most recent attack. If not for his incredible ki quantities the Icer would have surely already tired out. But he wasn't tired, he was more resilient in regeneration than any other fighter on the battlefield bar broc himself. Reaching the very top of the spire, which somehow was still partially intact the strategist fired a thin beam of Ki at the general's back. With Broc still focused on looking for the fallen warrior he would have little thought poised on the idea of another enemy. Though he had noticed Winta and Malachi previously, because they had chosen not to engage him, he had lost interest in them entirely. His scouter however had not. Beeping furiously as the Iccan lance made its quick dissent towards Broc's back. The frozen blue beam would register instantly on his scouter, but again the telekinetic hold would be enough to prevent Broc from effectively moving. "The hell!?"Other thoughts came to mind. His eyes reading the incomprehensible number five as the beam made contact with the armor on his back and effectively knocking the air out of him. Taking two steps forward and bending over a bit at the mid section Broc finally understood what had been happening, and his scouter instantly proved his hypothesis correct. The icer had been assisting Tido the entire time. His slowed reaction time had been the work of this foul creature, and now the surprise attack had gotten him as well. Though it had not even broken his armor, the cold attack had done damage, and left the intended numbing sensation. Finally understanding what he was up against, Broc did the only thing he could think of. He retaliated. His aura lit up again with a red array of swirling visible Ki. Winta would find his grasp on Broc to loosen. Unless the Arcosian focused all of his energy on Broc he would be unable to continue slowing his movements, and even with that focus the effects would be marginal. The plan had been good while it lasted, but with focus on flying still in play it was unlikely that the Icer would dedicate so much energy to a lost cause. Regardless of Winta's next move Broc had one ready. His oppenent was flying so the most logical course of action was to blow him out of the sky. His hands filling with small red balls of energy the General whipped his head around to make eye contact with the alien, who was finally close enough to actually see. "Arcosian!"He growled, turning his entire body and pointing both hands out like loaded cannon's. Firing the heated energy would let out a noise similar to launching fireworks, a high pitched whistle burning through the air, only to miss Winta entirely -unless for some reason he moved into its trajectory-. Broc would almost instantly recreated two more of these energy masses and fire them as well, his muscles tightening with each blow. This obviously wasn't an easy task to accomplish, so his Ki supply was seeming less and less unlimited. With one final round of these strikes, there would be six floating balls placed around the top of the spire. Children still flying out towards the sky -though at a noticeably lesser rate thanks to Malachi's stalling-. "Now Arcosian! Come fight me face to face, come on down before you make me do something we both regret!"Obviously Broc didn't want to kill the children, they were after all being used for slave labor, but Winta being the intelligent man he was would be able to easily deduce that Broc would sacrifice the lives of a few children to blow him out of the sky. Perhaps he would even recognize that the attacks Broc had launched were not infact directed at him in order to make contact, but were instead placed strategically as land mines around the area above them. Winta would either have to stop his flight for this fight, or deal with the mines. Now the icer had the chance to truly prove what he was capable of. There was however one final story. The first had been Aice, the second Tido, and the third Winta. The fourth was one of even greater heroics. Malachi had taken advantage of Winta's offer, and found himself taring through the saiyan's at ground level. Each one that came near a child found themselves on the ground writhing in pain. Unfortunately this sort of attention had drawn all of the saiyans in the area, or at least most of them. This had slowed the number of children cascading through the air, though not entirely. Malachi would find himself surrounded by several saiyans, all easily a match for him in a one on one setting. Without aid the boy would likely be overwhelmed. (20% Abducted. Give em hell Malachi. Make it a tear jerker )

Winta gritted his teeth in frustration as he watched the lance impact Broc, many would have immedietly let out a cheer of joy as they saw there technique land rather perfectly where they had aimed it, many would have assumed there attack successful and begin 'packing up' to head off thinking themselves the victor. But Winta knew better, Winta knew the effect his technique SHOULD have had if it had been truly successful, the Lance should have driven through Broc and caused a rather significant amount of blood splatter due to the initial piercing. There was no such splatter, no confirmation of Broc's death. The saiyan was still alive and in all likelihood mostly unharmed by the attack. Winta did note taht the attack had had fairly signifigant impact on the ape, he'd been forced forward and appeared to be trying to regain his composure. In the last seconds before Broc's retaliation Winta managed to note a number of cracks lining the back of the generals armor, proof that his technique had at least done something and perhaps if he survived long enough that would be an opprotunity Winta would need to exploit, another Lance in that location should be enough to rip through the armor and either A) expose the general for another attack or B) Kill him if the Lance prooved capable of boring through the damaged armor and into the general's back.
Those plans however were put on the 'back burner' so to speak as Broc began powering up unleashing a torrent of energy around himself, Winta could feel the man's resistance against his telekenetic hold wavering, Winta made a grasping motion just barely managing to keep it held tight enough to restrict the man from using the top speed, any small advantage would be quite necessary now that Broc was aware of him. And oh was the ape quite aware, for the first time Winta made actual eye contact with Broc, Winta set the man with a glare and an icy cold expression that showed none of how he truly felt about going into combat with the general. The ape shouted the name of Winta's race amusing him slightly, it appeared he'd done a good job of keeping actual information about himself away from the monkeys, not even the General seemed to have a clue as to who he was and what he could do. He pearhaps had an inclination of his ability to restrain him but certainly no more than that, and luckily he would only know that Winta possessed a strong Ki technique because of that damned scouter and not exactly what the Lance was capable of, there was, perhaps, still hope.
Winta's eyes widened slightly as he took up a defensive position as the General rather suddenly began lobbing energy, Winta assumed the blasts were to be aimed at him and was preparing himself to defend and avoid them... but the blasts all seemed just slightly off trajectory flying past him in ever direction as if the ape was TRYING to miss him. Winta's eyes once again momentarily widened as he twisted his head around slightly to see the blasts.. they were lingering around like mines, just waiting to detonate. Almost certainly they would do so if he approached. The ape was penning him in, limiting his range of movement. Winta had not expected something as crafty as this from a saiyan, but then again the idea was one that seemed to have merit with the saiyan way of doing things, he would FORCE Winta to fight him regardless of Winta's own plans. With a scowl Winta began to descend until finally he touched down on the spire once again, there was not particularly much leeway to avoid the likely blast radius of the 'mines' so keeping to ground level so to speak was ideal for the time being. As Winta touched down he made a mental note of the location of all the mines, he'd seen how many that Broc had launched off so spotting where they had all ended up was simple enough.
It was at this time that Winta regretted not putting more effort into his training, while his techniques has quite a few uses the number of techniques that he actually had mastered was annoyingly low, if he survived this that would have to be an error that he fixed quite immediately. Already Winta had concepts brewing, even new takes on older ideas he had come up with that had never 'taken off', but none of these ideas actually mattered right now, his techniques all required time to get down for actual combat use. The ape wanted a direct confrontation, something that Winta was both unaccustomed to and not quite fit for, his talents had always lay in mental pursuits, controlling the battlefield from afar or simply overpowering his opponent with raw power output. Physically Winta knew he was a rather weak specimen of his species even with the moderate physical training he put himself through. Clever use of telekinesis would be absolutely necessary in this battle and as such Winta was already identifying every reasonably sized chunk of broken building that lay scattered about all the while keeping the appearance of staring down the general. "As you wish, here I am." Winta spoke casting a momentary glance at the lights, he hoped that Malachi would find a means of further slowing or even stopping any more abductions. If there were no more children being taken then the risk posed by the mines was marginal at best. He would need to stall for a bit of time to see if Malachi made any headway with such.
"I don't quite understand the logic behind 'your' actions." Winta spoke calmly, the your being used to refer to the saiyans as a whole. "All this will do is fuel the hate they have for your race, and that fuel will drive them to become greater. Already you of all people have been faced with a Human capable of comparing to your power, perhaps not an ideal comparison but if he was capable of facing you in battle imagine what he could do against a normal saiyan. You're not creating any sort of ideal slave planet for yourselves, all you're doing is creating you're own downfall. And the amusing thing is... it doesn't even matter that I'm telling you this. You've already doomed yourselves, you started the ball rolling and sooner or later it will crush you all." Winta said, a hint of a smirk playing across his face as he finished. The taunt was all intended to buy a bit of time, give himself a chance to plot out a method of attack and perhaps see how things progressed, if he was lucky the ape would decide to actually talk, hearing his rebuttal would be both amusing and hopefully time consuming.

"Just a few more feet...ok well like fifty feet...." Aice thought to himself as he slowly made his way up the base of the tower.
From up above where Aice had first seen the fighting a cracking sound ripped through the air, quickly Aice looked up to see spheres of Ki fly into numerous directions. Stopping not to far out from the tower they seemed to be in stationary positions encircling the tower, almost like a barrier to keep anyone out...or anyone in. Luckily for Aice he was well out of reach of any of the attacks as long as he clung to the tower wall's there would be little issues with the new found threat. However Aice was worried that at any monument they could go off, keeping a eye on them he went back to the climbing he still had ahead.
Making sure he had a good holding Aice boosted himself up another few feet higher towards the top, with all the cracks in the base of the tower it was making the climb up much easier than it would have been originally. The tower it self had very little if anything holds to get a grip onto if it hadn't been for the energy attack he had seen from before it might have been impossible to reach Winta, even with Aice's impressive climbing skills. Trying to get to the top as quickly as he could was a difficult challenge as he had to balance his speed with want of not falling, one small mistake could be fatal especially with him being up as high as he was. Aice was sure that Winta would be able to hold his own for a little while but from what Aice's scouter read from before, who ever was up there had quite a bit of power under his belt. From the looks of it already who ever was launching these attack's was much stronger than anyone here combined, but none the less Aice would never stand down against some one that was causing so much harm to many.
"I have no idea who is causing all this shit to happen but when I get up there, someone's ass is getting kicked."
With the weakened structure of the building Aice could almost feel the building tremble with every movement he took, who knew how much longer it could support its own weight let alone the people standing on it. Hearing a cracking sound from up above him, Aice noticed a large chuck of wall had broke off from the tower and was falling straight towards him.
"Oh fuck!"
Gripping as tightly as he could with his left hand Aice swung his body around so it would face away from the tower, now clinging to the wall with one hand the stone flew past him into the ground below. Small bits of derib pelted his head as he took a second to regain his stability after almost being crushing by a rock. Glancing down below he saw the slab smash into the ground, breaking into thousands of pieces it kicked dust high into the air. Luckily it didn't hit anyone below, but Aice did here some screaming whether or not they were a reacting to the falling material or from a Saiyan striking them he didn't know.
"That was way to close for comfort."
Swinging his body back to were his face was now towards the wall he resumed his climbing but with a much faster pace that before. It was just a matter of time before the tower would fall to piece's and he'd much rather be on a flat surface when it did. Since part of the wall had broken off there was now a gap in the face of the tower; reaching the hole Aice was able to climb inside of it giving him easier excess to where he wanted to be. The tear in the face of the tower went all the way to the level that Aice wanted to the reach, however looking at its structure it was quite clear that there was very little hand holds to take advantage of here.
"Damn just my luck, I could keep climbing but that would take to long, by the time I reached the top, the tower would have probably have collapsed."
Scanning up and down the length of the crack Aice finally came up with another idea, with enough speed he could kick off from one wall and propel him to another. If he was able to keep up the rhyme of the kicks he would be able to push himself to the top of building. It was worth a shot and if there was one thing Aice was good at with was being fast. With the little space that the gap gave him Aice sprang into action, jumping he kicked at the wall launching towards the next wall. Spinging around to the face the on coming wall Aice thrusted his other leg out and sprung off of it also. Repeating the process a few times Aice was able to reach the lip of the level very quickly, with one final kick off the wall Aice extended his arms and took a grip onto the edge. Pulling himself up he sat there on the cold hard flooring, using his arm his wipped the sweat off his forehead and flung it off the ledge towards the ground below. Looking down at how far he had gone Aice shivered slightly,
"I hate heights." He thought with a disturbed look on his face.
Turning his attention back to the rest of the action Aice saw Winta talking to a Saiyan, having never seen him before Aice had no idea who this man was, but from Winta's words he was no friend of his. With all the rubble that the energy attack had created there was penelty of spots Aice could hid for at the moment, with his size being so small. Sliding behind one Aice watched the two, ready to strike at a seconds notice.
"I have no idea what is going on here right now, sure I could attack right now but I still have the element of surprise on my side, and I can't waste that. Once I see a opportune strike I'll pouch on him or if Winta's in danger but for right now I'll watch the events unfold before me."
Reaching into his back pocket Aice pulled out the scouter and placed it on his head, he would need to know as much about his target as he could. Sometimes one's knowledge in a fight was his best weapon, and being out powered it was best to have every advantage he could. Looking the man over he was much older than either of the two but the scouter showed just how strong he really was as he emitted his energy into the surrounding area. Even so, it looked at though Winta had already done some damage to him already as Aice noticed the fimailar pattern of his ice lance on the Saiyan's armor.
"Nice job Winta!" Aice cheered in his head.
"But it looks like it's going to take a lot more than that to defeat this guy."

Post by Malachi on Aug 17, 2013 6:20:02 GMT
Malachi was aware of every soldier around him, and the longer he waited to make a move the closer they got. Footsteps...at least a dozen. Six or seven saiyans approached him all together, encircling him quickly. They were at least as fast as him, some of them possibly a bit faster. Their footsteps were heavy and direct, thumping against the ground as they rushed at him. He closed his eyes, knowing that it didn't matter. Maybe they would think he was submitting by doing so, but he just let his arms drop to his side and waited. Two saiyans were writhing on the ground about ten feet from the boy, and the others knew it was because of him. "Get him!" One shouted. "He's surrounded, we've got him now!" Came the voice of yet another as they got closer. Malachi's fists were clenched, the index and middle fingers of both hands were still glowing with the small blades of his knife hand jab technique. His fingers jabbed lightly into his own hands, causing them to bleed, but he had to hide the technique at least briefly. He had enough energy to sustain it a while longer. He just had to hope he could outwit them.
They were careless...and he was cunning, or so it seemed. They didn't anticipate that he could determine all of their movements no matter where they were around him, either. The first one to get closest was the one directly behind him, likely hoping the others had the boy distracted. But they soon found out otherwise. Without hesitation he ducked under the arms of the saiyan behind him and spun on one heel, planting the fingers of his left hand into the saiyan's lower abdomen while jabbing the others into the side of his left knee. The saiyan lurched back and stumbled, falling onto his ass. The wounds weren't too deep, and likely just surprised him, but that was enough. It bought Malachi time. As two more dive to try and grab him he leaped forward over the Saiyan he'd just stabbed.
But that's where his plan was cut short. The saiyan caught his leg mid jump and jerked him back towards the group, landing him in the middle of them all. The two that had dove for him were dusting themselves off and two more grabbed the boy's arms and hoisted him up, holding him high enough that his toes barely touched the ground. They gave the one Malachi had just stabbed the first blow against the nuisance of a boy. And he struck true. His anger was clenched in his fist as he planted it firmly into Malachi's stomach. The saiyans were much stronger than he'd imagined. Even those not of Broc's caliber were still far more physically powerful than Malachi. And now he knew first hand. His body doubled over on the larger man's fist and he hacked and wheezed from that punch. A second punch came and there was a sickening crack as one of Malachi's ribs snapped under the continued punishment. He had to think fast...what could he do?
The saiyan grabbed Malachi's hair and pulled his head up, looking into his eyes. His face went pail as he saw and realized that Malachi was blind. Even more enraged that they could be caused so much trouble by a blind teenage human, he punched Malachi in the jaw with a mean right hook. The young man's head jerked to the other side and blood, spit, and pieces of a tooth landed on the ground to his right. He grunted and grimaced, but somehow managed to turn his gaze back to the saiyan in front of him. The realization was sinking in...without help...Malachi likely would not survive this fight. But a smile spread across his face as blood leaked from the left corner of his mouth and he looked up at the saiyan who was utterly disgusted and infuriated by this display, "You may...destroy my body...but you can....NEVER BREAK MY SPIRIT!!!" His words, especially at the end, were screamed despite his lack of breath. And anyone within earshot would know that Malachi was not going to be giving up. And he wouldn't go down without a fight.
As that same saiyan drew back for yet another fist, Malachi made the boldest move he could. He aimed his palms towards the faces of the ones restraining him and quickly released two energy blasts, causing them to lurch back in pain and let him go as they grasped at their eyes. When they dropped him he fell just below the punch and then delivered what may be his final attack. His right hand raised up almost like an uppercut, but with two fingers rigid, and his knife hand jab technique glowing on his fingertips. And in that moment, the blind, teenage human took down a trained saiyan soldier...not just crippled or injured...he killed him. Malachi's fingers pierced his jugular and his windpipe.
The man fell backward with Malachi on top of him. He gurgled and gargled his own blood as the boy withdrew his fingers from the man's throat and just lay there. His stomach hurt so badly after that that he dared not move anymore. He couldn't. Tears from the pain were streaming down his face, but the smile persisted between wincing and groaning.
And then the end came. With one eye closed, one of the two saiyans that had been restraining him kicked him over onto his back and off of the now dying saiyan. He then stepped over and stomped Malachi's middle, causing yet another disturbing crack as two more ribs were shattered. And again his foot fell into the boy's torso, but this time the sound was different. Ssspllllrrrch...and Malachi writhed as his head jerked forward and his mouth flew open, releasing not a cry of pain, but a puddle of blood onto the saiyan's boot and his own chest and stomach. One of those broken ribs had just plunged into his left lung.
The blood loss, lack of oxygen from one lung filling with blood, and the pain began to take him. His senses all began to dull and slowly fade. His head drooped to his left as he gave one last glance at the saiyan he'd taken with him. A blank expression on his face as his mind passed through a few final thoughts. Aice...I know we only met a few days ago...but I'm glad you were the one to hear my story. Winta...I'm glad you gave me the courage to at least try. Tears trickled down his cheeks as the last few breaths left his body. For the first time in his life Malachi could see...truly see...as a bright light with two figures stood waiting for him at the end of a long tunnel. Mother...father...I hope I did the right thing...yes...I'm sure I did...if I saved a single child from that life that you had to live...it was all worth it...I hope you're proud of me...because I'm finally coming to see you...
And with that, the brave young soul of Malachi departed to the other side, leaving only the tale of a young martyr with a heart for justice as his legacy...

"Hmhmhm you are confused Icer"
Broc said taking two small steps forward, closing the gap between himself and Winta. He would engage in conversation, which was time consuming to a degree. This thoughtful strategy would be expected by an Icer of Winta's talents, and a Saiyan of Broc's ignorance. His neck cracked to the left as his ki signature continued to fumble over the two small patches of hair on either side of his head. With a crooked grin he retorted, though perhaps not as Winta had expected.
"I have never met a living being capable of standing next to me in strength bar my own superiors. We will continue to abduct children and domesticate them the way we want. The only people dumb enough to try and stop us are the three of you!"
Refering of course to Malachi, Tido, and Winta, his scouter began to buzz almost instantly as the powerlevel that was Malachi suddenly faded. Again his smile widened and a chuckle came to his belly.
"I'm sorry, the two of you..They can hate us all they want, but the fact is there never has been a human capable of standing up to our might, and there never will be!"
At the end of his statement, his final five words driving his attack, the general would lunge forward with his right fist pulled back to strike at the Icer. Stopping both feet after the first strike, regardless of if it hit or missed, he would follow up with a second strike with his left. An uppercut towards Winta's chin. If either blow made contact Winta would surely feel that strength Broc had been preaching about, although his punches lacked the Control they had possessed against Tido, meaning that he would not be blowing the spire in half again with each punch.
Aice would read two things from his scouter. The remaining Ki that Broc had after his two attacks, and the strength of his punches.

Winta had to restrain himself from rolling his eyes as Broc spoke, apart of him had hoped that Broc would be someone a bit more intellectual, if only compared to the average saiyan. But as he spoke it became clear he was for the most part he had the brain of an average saiyan thug, almost certainly with a fair bit more significant amount of combat knowledge due to time served but ultimately not someone who posed an intellectual threat. Winta carefully took a step back as Broc advanced, careful to avoid making it too obvious that he was doing so lest that provoke Broc into advancing the likely soon to come attack. With what little time he had Winta took in everything he could about Broc, matching what he had seen earlier to get the best idea of what the man could be possible of. He'd shown a penchant for physical combat over Ki which to an extent was a good thing. Provided Winta could keep up a defense there was a good chance he could survive this, if he aggravated Broc into unleashing more of those explosive strikes there was a chance he could wear him down, the only problem of course would be keeping his own energy reserves up.
Winta's eyes darted to the scouter as it began acting up, Winta had been given access to scouters a few times before. Mostly just to get a working understanding of the technology behind them on the chance he ever had the opportunity to obtain one for himself. It was difficult but Witna could make out to an extent what was going on with the Scouter at present. Broc's scouter was picking up a number of energy signatures of note. The power needed to make a note on someone like Broc's scouter would need to be at least relatively substantial. One signature seemed to spike rather rapidly before blinking out entirely. That was almost always a sign of the death of the person behind the energy signature. Winta's expression hardened as his mind made the connection just shortly before Broc himself said it. Malachi. But there was something... off. Three energy signatures? Was Tido actually foolish enough to be sticking around? The state he'd been in would have almost certainly left him rather weakened so why would he be picking up on Broc's scouter?
As Broc spoke Winta watched him tuning out the saiyan's drivel for the most part, as he came to the culmination of his statement Winta noticed the man tensing just a moment before he sprung into action. Winta himself spring unto action as quickly as he could he saw the saiyan bolting forward his arm cocked back and as Broc took his swing Winta only barely managed to pull himself back enough to avoid the blow, the second swing however came far too quickly nailing Winta in the jaw and sending him flying backward. Winta let out a strangled growl as he caught himself in the air twisting around quickly and using his flight to push himself back to the ground as quickly as possible. Landing a tad unsteadily several feet away. A small trail of blood would leak from Winta's mouth due to the blow but the Arcosian would keep his expression steeled and his glare focused. The saiyan had not been exaggerating when he'd boasted about his physical might. Winta cocked his right arm back in a fashion reminicent to when someone would prepare to launch an energy technique. However as Winta would strike his hand forward as if to launch an attack nothing would come, instead a piece of rubble behind Broc would lift into the air and rather suddenly blast at Broc with great speed.

Aice sat behind the piles of rubble that now littered this level of the spire, the chunks of stone and metal provided great cover for anyone who was small enough to fit behind them. Luckily for Aice this was the case for him as he leaned against the hard rocky stack watching the un-nammed Saiyan and Winta. Still unseen by either he barely moved less he be detected by the man, Aice had seen his Ki power and it was something he wouldn't be fond of seeing up close. Although Aice was quite surprised that the man had not yet picked up on his energy being that he was wearing a similar scouter to Aice's. Either he already knew Aice was there and he was waiting to attack him, or Aice still had the element of surprised with him. Either way he would have to be cautious when ever he decided to launch his first attack, if by chance the Saiyan did know of him already being there he could counter whatever he threw at him. Taking note of that Aice began to tense his muscles up, knowing that time to pounce was growing ever closer. Speaking of that the Saiyan launched two jabs at Winta which he was skillfully able to dodge the first however, the second jab made contact with Winta's face as he tried to avoid it. Even though the hit had clipped him in the jaw it had more than enough force behind it too send him flying backwards into the air, however since Winta was masterful in the art of flight it was no problem for him to stabilize himself in mid air. Bringing himself back down on the platform Aice could already see the blood dripping from the corner of his mouth, all considering it wasn't a terrible wound but just the starting signs of the fight. Aice knew that it was almost time for him to jump in but at the moment there was nothing to distract the man from Aice's barrage. As if Winta was reading his mind he began to levitate a large chuck of stone nearby, it looked as though the Saiyan hadn't taken notice of it yet. Using his telekinetic powers Winta launched the rock at the Saiyan, seeing it as a great time to attack Aice sprung into action. Forming a ball of electrified Ki in his hand Aice jumped over the pile of stone to face the Saiyan, rearing his arm back he lobbed the energy at the his target. The sparking yellow ball flew across the short distant across the floor of the spire, if it hit the Saiyan or close nearby (>10ft) it would explode cause a electric field around it. On most people it would cause instant paralysis but Aice wasn't sure with all the power the Saiyan had if it would have the same effects. If anything it would be very painful to be struck with the field,if he could move any movement after that point would most likely cause great pain as the attack the nerves through out his body. "Hey Winta sorry I'm late, the freeway was packed." Aice joked, not really sure if Winta understood the humor, all the while keeping his eyes on the Saiyan. "So who's this clown?" Aice asked.

The timing would be spontaneous. Each fighter moving swiftly through the motions of combat. Broc would not stop with one simple jab, even an effective one like he had pulled off. His right hand raising once again in a powerful and relentless combo. The noise behind him however would draw his fist elsewhere. Only having to take a few steps towards Winta in order to continue their combat, the close Saiyan turned around, pivoting to ensure he was not blindsided by the sound of falling rubble. He had no way of knowing what was behind him, only that something was and that other powerlevel’s were popping up on his scouter. The slug from his right instead of striking Winta as planned, would make contact with the large rock from behind him, shattering it into thousands of small pieces. “Hra!”He yelled, the grunt a mixture of satisfaction at having avoided being hit by the attack, and of the instant pain that came with bruising his knuckles. If the bruising of knuckles was enough to count Broc out certainly he wouldn’t be the general. The next attack however would be a surprise striking him squarely in the gut. The electricity while overwhelming would not warrant more than an elongated grunt from the saiyan, whose face lit up in an angry struggle to maintain composure as the electricity swarmed through his body, much like a tazer. The attack had landed squarely where it had intended, right on Broc…who was standing only a few feet from Winta. Launching an area of effect attack during a fist fight was probably not the soundest strategy. Allies were not immune to friendly fire, and since Winta to would likely be surprised by Aice’s attack one could only imagine how that would turn out. His tail standing straight out for a moment, each hair taking on the appearance of static, the saiyan would be stuck for a few seconds in this pose before finally whipping his head around to see the Winta once more. His scouter had since turned off due to the current, but was now flashing brightly as if resetting its module. Another advantage on their part was for the next minute or so Broc would be without his scouter. “Your friend…knows a few good tricks”He said, the aura that had quieted from the electric shock now picking up again in full force. Aice had done an interesting number on Broc, one that he had not expected. Unfortunately attacks like that didn’t come cheap and would be inevitably difficult to repeat. Broc would now show off his own skills, and with Winta standing near Aice, the scouter over his face would shine out clear as day telling the two exactly what they were dealing with. Though it was still undetermined how Winta would take the aftermath of Aice’s AOE attack, Broc would aim for the Icer regardless, sticking to a single target. The numbers would vary, and not all of them would be intelligible for the human to understand, but a few were clear as day. Speed 9Rather remarkable when you consider the hold that Winta had on the man, and the light slow from the paralysis effect. One could only imagine what Broc at his full power was capable of in this department. His powerful left leg would swing upwards with the intent to slam into Winta’s head. While the lack of speed would limit the strength of the upward attack, the scouter was able to determine how powerful that particular strike was. Strength 16His aura crackling at his grounded leg, and seeming to follow him as he struck would also be recorded. If at any time Broc chose to use an attack that required less physical prowess he would have a specific amount to work with, today that amount was as such. –This was of course after blowing up half the tower and throwing out the mines that leered above them- Ki 24This was all the scouter could tell Aice, or at least all he understood from the many numbers that whizzed around. Some were picking up Winta, and others hinting at a third body still somewhere in the area…and that body was hardly finished… They would have to concern themselves with this later however as the upwards kick was immediately followed by a left hook once the leg landed firmly on the ground once more. If Winta hadn't gone flying from the kick, he would have the punch to deal with next. Two attacks for Winta to deal with, the question remaining just how much his body could handle. With only one hit in so far it was unclear how much the Icer’s body could take. But they were going to find out. (25% Abducted. Get ready guys, this is the big boss )

Winta allowed himself a small smirk as he managed to put a small amount of distance between himself and Broc as the General took the time to take a swing at the rock Winta had sent at him, the sound Broc made while primarily the normal sort of guttural animalistic 'I smashed the thing' sound a Saiyan made when they did in fact 'smash the thing' definitely had at least some pain in it which meant that rocks while not the MOST effective weapon would actually be effective to a degree and if Winta could force the general to keep defending himself by punching slabs of rock there was a chance he could cause some actual damage to the man’s fists. However the plans for how exactly Winta would exploit this new opportunity were halted as he caught sight of a bright light zipping through the air. It had a rather familiar yellow tinged appearance crackling with what appeared to be electrical energy. Winta could scarcely believe the possibility that Aice had actually somehow arrived just in the nick of time, surely that was just a similar technique... right?
When the ball of energy made contact with Broc catching the ape apparently completely off guard as the man focused his full attention on Winta himself Winta noticed yet another familiar sight, the sight of the ball not just exploding as per a normal Ki technique, but expanding. It was all too familiar to how Winta had seen Aice's electrical technique operate and thus Winta made a quick decision knowing what that technique could do to those within a fair distance of its target. Winta rolled to the side catching another slab of rock in his sights and placing it under his telekinetic control, as Winta rolled towards it the slab lifted and flew closer to Winta covering the Arcoisian as the wave of energy quickly expanded, the rock served its purpose of protecting Winta from the electrical field. Even if it wasn't actually Aice's technique Winta wanted no part of getting caught up in that nonsense.
Winta pulled himself up from behind the slab just as Broc appeared to be coming to his senses, much to Winta's annoyance the general still appeared to have his sights set on him, notably the man seemed to have been momentarily 'stuck' as the general twisted his head around Winta could see the man was having some difficulty properly moving his limbs though that seemed to be quickly fading as the seconds ticked by. Now that Winta had a moment to survey the area he took a look to where the technique had come from and what he found brought a small grin to his face. It HAD been Aice; sadly however Aice seemed unaware of exactly how much trouble they were presently in. "Better late than never, as for whom that is. That would be General Broc." Winta said giving Aice as much of a 'yeah this is a problem' look as he could give if Aice did not recognize the name.
As Winta finished his sentence Broc completed his recovery and returned to action once again charging at Winta causing the Arcosian no end of frustration. He'd hoped that perhaps for a moment the general would target Aice and give him a chance to set up a plan. It was evident by the way the man's scouter was acting up that it was not presently functioning properly, likely due to the surge, Which gave Winta and Aice an opportunity to get in a few hits that would potentially not land otherwise but working out what to do was not exactly the easiest thing to do when under assault from a warrior far more physically capable than oneself. All Winta could really do was bring the slab of rock he had used as a shield from the surge to defend himself as the general closed the distance between themselves and swung with a high left kick aimed at Winta's head. Winta brought the rock up in defense causing the general to reduce it to little more than rubble some of which would harmlessly pelt Winta and likely the General himself.
Soon after the rock was no more the general would continue his assault taking a swing at Winta with a hard left hook that Winta only barely managed to bring his arms up to defend against, the defense however was rather poor on Winta's part as all it managed to accomplish was focusing the damage into his arms rather. Winta gritted his teeth as pain shot through his body as he slid backward from the power of Broc's attack. As Winta began bringing his arms down Winta would however begin focusing his energy building it up and focusing it as quickly as he could. While the technique would not be as effective without the time to put more energy into it Winta was certain another Lance at this distance would still be good enough to do some amount of damage to the General, if the man was arrogant enough he might even attempt to simply take the hit head on which would more than make Winta's day. The Iccan Lance was a technique developed by Winta to emulate the signature technique of the Cold family, the 'Death Beam' it held many of the same properties as the technique namely the piercing nature but traded off being slower and less compact for being overall a slightly more powerful on the off chance that it didn't outright kill it's intended target.

As Winta told Aice of who the man was the name general Broc came up, however actually never seeing the man himself Aice had no idea that he was the man he had attacked. If his stats that Aice had read on the scouter weren't bad enough the Saiyan was a general and there was probabblt a pretty good reason for that fact. Even with the circumstances facing him Aice didn't back down any, whether if was stupidity or bravery once he started a fight like this there was no way he was going to back out. Besides Winta was here to fight along side with, and together the two where a unstoppable fast team with amazing tactical skills. Hopefully that alone would be enough to take down the general that stood before them.
Aice was excited to see that his electrical attack had struck it's target not even needing the extra field it generated to affect him, truth be told he was more than sure that the Saiyan would have tried to block it. Either way the electrical effect would have still taken it's toll upon the man. Even though the attack had hit true it didn't seem to be doing it's usual effects on the general, by now he should be frozen in shocking pain but instead he was still on his two feet. Aice had feared this much even though the attack worked as it always had the general's strength was more than enough to over come it. However it did seem to be causing him discomfort and mobility issues as the electricity flowed through his nerves.
The effects of the electrical shock quickly wore off on the Saiyan, without a second to spare he jumped into action as began to assault Winta with everything he had. Using a large slab of rock to defend himself Winta was able to block the first incoming attack that the general launched at him, coming hard at him with a kick to the head. The rock was successful in deflecting the attack but it was destroyed by the raw power behind the strike, kicking bits of stone into the air. The next attack from the general hit its target true this time impacting against Winta's defending arms, not providing to much of a buffer Winta was sent sliding a few feet back. Just from the sound alone Aice cringed in pain knowing he needing to jump into action to help his friend.
Aice had noticed earlier that the Saiyan's scouter had gone all haywire when his attack had hit, he had guessed that the electricity had done something to fry it's circuits. If he couldn't sense that he was coming it would make attacking him from behind a whole lot easier. With his attention stuck on Winta, Aice had a prime opportunity to sneak off behind the general. Having a good angle Aice ran out and landed on the Saiyan's head, wrapping his legs around the man's throat he squeezed his thighs as tightly as he could. Taking both his hands Aice began to claw at the man's eyes, Aice knew that doing either of these weren't enough to take the man down; he was just trying to get him off Winta long enough so Winta could get a break from his beating. At most would would cause some dicomfront to the Saiyan, unless Aice actually managed to strike him in the eye.
He would have liked to do more than what he was currently but to his disdain all of his techniques would have also caused damaged to Winta being this close to the general. Right now all he could do was hope Winta would have something in store for the man, or at least back off so Aice could shock him once again.
