Hey all!
Welcome to Dragon Ball Empire, our long anticipated grand opening has come! For those of you from WODR welcome, we are happy to have you! For those of you entirely new we look forward to getting to know each and every one of you. I am Ryouken the Co-creator of the site. I don't like talking about myself so I will keep it short. I am in charge of the NPC's you see around the site. If you want to interact with one, or have an idea for the plot feel free to PM me and we can talk about working it out. I can also be reached at TenshuWODR on skype.
Zach is the other Co-creator and the inspiration for the site. Without him I would never have considered branching off to make this. He will be a great help to you as well if you have any questions.
Winta is our Administrator, he is to thank for many of the technical aspects of the site including our upgraded chat box, the excellent background, and many of the plot idea's you will come to see.
Aice is our Global Moderator and is here to help with any questions you may have, and to help with tasks around the forum. He has also developed many of the quests you see before you.
Now that introductions are out of the way I wanted to explain my inspiration for the site. When I was thinking about the story for Empire I asked myself one question, what do people enjoy playing as. I answered that question with three area's
Here I believe you can do just that. You can take the side of the oppressed human's and start the long arguous journey to freedom, or you can play as a saiyan wanting to keep their race on top. Either way you will be greatly impacting the story no matter what your level of ability, or talent. With every quest you do your team will earn a set number of points (The difficulty of the quest) once your side has reached a certain tier in points you will receive special perks and help your faction advance in the plot.
I ask that you only complete one or two quests per week. This is not set in stone but spamming our quests will force us to limit the number you can do. Start threads, build relationships and rivalries, and specialize your character to do what they do best.
Most of all have fun!
If there is anything you need don't hesitate to ask!
As a special reward for all our starters I will be giving each member +1 to any stat. Any member who reads this and posts here can add it to their character. This is valid until June 3rd!
