Considering their options carefully, Kal had finally determined that the Namekian would be best spoken too. If he intentionally landed here there had to be a good reason for it, and since he had not yet engaged he was obviously waiting for someone to find him. As his knee's began to bend in order to stand and approach their target, Haku made the decision for them, stepping forward, shoving the pen and paper into Kal's chest -which he was hardly able to grasp as everything happened so quickly-. His mind had only barely wrapped around his own plan, when Haku jumped into the crater to make his own contact with the creature.
"Haku!"
He whispered worriedly knowing well that it was too late to stop the boy. He let out a sigh and knelt back down. The fact of the matter was letting Haku handle this mission would be an excellent lesson in a few things, the first being chain of command. If this Namekian started beating the hell out of the kid, perhaps he would understand why Kal was hesitant to engage. It was a beating that the child sorely needed to understand the abilities of those he was fighting against. Of course Kal wouldn't let the boy get beaten too badly, if the man's power level stayed even remotely close to what they were scanned to be, Kal would be able to handle the situation. For Haku on the other hand this would be a challenge.
_______________________________________________
The child's sudden interrogation did not come as a terrible surprise to the Namekian, his arm's folded over his chest, and legs crossed in a meditative state. Haku's yelling only announced to him that he had finally been located, and though the child had less grace than he would have hoped, he would do to pass on the needed message.
"Child. Is there an adult I can speak with"
Not even opening his eyes to acknowledge the boy, he was most content with ignoring his questions and awaiting the other saiyan's interception. At least the other saiyan posed a reasonable threat, his aura already begining to rise nervously in the face of Haku's dangerous decision.

Fury blazed through his little black eyes. Haku curled his nose in anger and clenched his hands. What insolent fool! he thought; veins bulged in his forehead as hot blood rushed through his body. Just a little more and the namekian would perhaps provoke the saiyan boy in attacking him out of scorn. His energy was already starting to brew and tempted leaking through his veins in an explosive display of power. But the boy decided to take the high road; his angered expression cooled down and was replaced with belittling gaze.
"I assure you, I'm just as qualified as any other 'adult'," he started with an evidently fake smile masking his putrid child-like rage. "Otherwise, I wouldn't have been sent here to greet you." His tough armor cackles as he presses his thumb over them and continues to speak, "this armor is proof enough of my status within the Saiyan Empire, so please," another word which seemed to have been spit out with resentment, "don't insult me any further."
Kal might have been impressed by the boys handling of the situation while another saiyan would have probably lashed out by now, but it was only a matter of time before the tension broke out and they were fighting -which was actually preferred by little Haku. If it weren't for the fact that Kal named this a 'secret mission' Haku would have already been pounding at the ugly green namekian. He wanted to know how namekian blood looked like, and although every instinctual saiyan reasoning told him otherwise, he remained 'calm' and 'stoic' under the outsider's demeaning words.
Haku would not speak any further. He crossed his hands with eyes slanted over the namekian's creepy antennae. It was the aliens turn...

The Namekian was not impressed by Haku's armor or his held back rage. Though the kid had no way of knowing it, this green warrior was on a secret mission of his own, and talking to a child would not satisfy the requirement of said mission. Not moving from his stoic floating position a light smirk crossed his lips. The child here was really trying to impress him, or perhaps the other saiyan, whose weary eyes were pressing into the Namekian.
"I appreciate your...efforts child. But my purpose here exceeds speaking with common foot soldiers, even ones so...illustrious...as yourself. Kindly see an adult to my location"
The Namekian wouldn't budge on this. It was obvious that Haku wanted to play the part of the heroic soldier, but the fact that children were even allowed in the saiyan army worried the warrior, not for his own safety but for the stability of the race as a whole. It was difficult dealing with savages, it so rarely worked out for them and this was no exception. If this race turned out too be nothing more than brutish thugs, then the Namek would have nothing more to do with them.

Kal watched nervously as the kid spoke, his agitation not easily hidden. He half considered just stepping forward and ending the conflict, but Haku being the first to engage left the saiyan at an advantage, if he knew exactly how the Namek fought, or if he would at all, he would be able to better analyze the situation. Haku was essentially the decoy, and Kal was alright with him getting beat around. The Namek didn't have the energy to kill the child instantly, and Kal would be able to step in if things got out of hand. The sound of the conversation however led him to believe that the Namek legitimately wanted to speak with someone, and was unwilling to cooperate with a child. It was unlikely that he would try to kill either of them unless provoked. Haku had shown excellent restraint thus-far, and if he was smart he would call his partner in. Though knowing Haku it was likely that he wouldn't and the encounter would get dicey.

On the inside, Hakusai was screeching with all the anger and might of a child. He had yet again been insulted. COMMON FOOT SOLDIER!? he thought with utter disdain. His mullet seemed to gain life for an instant as it briefly rose up in a threatening scowl. Haku wouldn't not move from his spot and remained just as he was, his mind concocting more witty little phrases and plans to trick the namekian; that is, when he got an idea which he trusted might work. This would be the final chance the green filthy creature had before the little boy decided to take things into his own hands. The saiyan decided to take another approach and keep up with his little act of professionalism.
"Very well," he stated, which might have seemed a bit off to either the namekian or Kal. "But an adult wont come without good reason, you must tell me what this matter is about so I can successfully report back to base..."
Haku's fingers pinched his arm as a way to repress his anger. His tail was fastened tightly around his waist like a belt. The forest was completely empty, not a sound out of place; the perfect stage for a brawl. The boy glanced behind him and snarled at his partner, Don't interfere he thought, though there was no way he could tell him without giving away his presence. Haku was most certainly ready to fight whether he got his answer or not, but he needed to know something about their intruder before snapping his pretty little neck. His posture was so condescending, it was infuriating!
Finally, Haku snapped, "You could at-least show some respect towards your superiors!" he yelled, his hands dropping to his sides. He rose his right arm at chest level as if demonstrating something to the namekian, and a bright yellow orb of incandescent energy buzzed to life in the palm of his hands. It wasn't as stable as other's since Haku was mainly a physical fighter, his energy attacks still needed a bit of work, but they were still quite threatening. The ball of ki flickered in his hand and enlightened his face. Haku smirked at the namekian, waiting for him to drop to his knees and beg for forgiveness...

This Namekian had been trained to deal with the worst the universe had to offer. His training was not that of the average Namek nor was it anything to be taken lightly. The discipline required to obtain the level of enlightenment this individual had achieved was uncanny, and yet...this kid was really starting to piss him off. He could sense the higher power level in the area, having not even opened his eyes he had deduced that he was speaking with a child whom was clearly accompanied by a superior adult, so why was his request so difficult. It was when the child hastily charged himself a ball of Ki that the Namekian lost his own temper, perhaps not in the same way that Haku had, but certainly enough to get his attention. Finally opening his eyes to view the child his assertions were all proven true. The kid was short, and off just a few feet behind him was another taller creature, with many tribal markings. The tail wrapped around his waist told the Namek he was in the right place. His glare met that of the child whose energy crackled with anticipation. Looking over towards the red intimidating energy the Namek could think of only one suitable answer to this problem.
Pzzt
From out of his eyes two thin red beams appeared, shooting forward and piercing the disappointing attempt at flaunting the boy's energy. The explosion it caused wouldn't be enough to hurt anyone, perhaps if the child was unprepared he would fall backwards, but for the most part the surprise that his attack was so easily disgarded would serve as point enough for the Namek to continue his train of thought his head looking up and away from the child, and over towards the teenager whose war paint had caught the green aliens interest.
"Now, may I speak with an adult"
He replied, speaking to Haku, but looking squarely at Kal. Kal's expression was less than enthused. The frown on his face clearly determined that their situation was not ideal. Luckily the red beams had registered within the realm of power suggested by the scouter. If the man kept in that power range, it would still be possible to keep him under control. He had to stick with the plan though, if Haku wanted to be in this mess, then he would have to handle it himself, at least as much as he could. Kal would observe, and jump in if the child was floundering. Besides, the longer he could watch the Namek, the better off they both were. No tricks, not for the Namek anyway.

The boy grinned, pleased to have the green outsider show a modicum of respect and open his eyes to witness the greatness that was the saiyan Hakusai. All that was left was for the insolent fool to stand up and greet the boy properly, the energy ball in his hand was already starting to gradually disperse, but it wouldn't completely fade until the namekian had gotten to his feet. A split moment later, his attack self-destruct in his face. Haku gasped and stumbled back, landing on his bum. OMPH! he grunt, glaring at the namekian shortly after the debris had lifted and diffused in the air. He had barely seen what happened but he could have sworn he saw a bright red flash through his eyes. His hands were singed after hosting the explosion, but it wasn't anything serious. His stress marks became more apparent as the namekian continued to ignore him and glance up at Kal.
Haku clenched his fists with utter resentment and slowly picked himself up from the ground. He paid a sharp and annoyed glance at his partner and then turned to the outsider again. His eyes flared as his aura rose. "You're speaking with one now!" he retorted, running towards the namekian with blinding rage. The dirt picked up behind him in a trail. Being so small it helped him when it came to speed, and the fact that the enemy had been looking the other way meant he would be able to sneak a nice sure hit. He knew quite well that he was no adult, but he also understood that he was as good as any other -if not better. Haku would attempt to ram his fist across the namekians face and force his feet off the ground, sending him propelling against the side of the crater his ship had created.
Haku had been in many battles and he had won many just as he had lost, but they were all saiyans. His gift wasn't being the strongest, it was being as strong as an adult saiyan. He was sure he couldn't possibly lose to some worthless trash like namekian, they were almost as weak as humans.

The child's necessary humiliation was lost on the Namekian, whose focus remained planted firmly on the other saiyan whom had yet to speak, or so much as move from his spot. It was understood that saiyan's travel in groups of two, since they were generally more effective that way, but pairing up with a child made very little sense. It was almost like having a handicap for the enemy, if the child was of any value to the other saiyan than it would be at a disadvantage when the child was injured. It was only then that it occured to the Namek that this boy, as annoying as he was, likely held up to some sort of standard in their community, otherwise the other Saiyan would have engaged by now. The revelation came just moments too late as a fist roared from his unguarded left, and hit him square in the chin. His floating meditation would be cut short as the Namek's body flailed backwards onto the ground below, skidding and rolling several feet before using his arms to slow his momentum and catch his grip. The kid had not just thrown a punch, but one packed with a higher concentration of Ki.
"Then allow me to show you how I treat hostile adults"
If he could show he meant business and would not be pushed around by the youth, perhaps he could get the other saiyan's attention. He was however still rather astonished that no actual adult had come along. The more he looked at Kal the more he thought his opponents were no more than school children. His guess wasn't far off as Kal was only seventeen, so in reality a true adult had not been sent on this quest.
Kal however was less focused on the Namek's age, and more intently noticing how well Haku was handling the situation. Granted he would have never engaged the Namek, but using his distracting glance as an opening was rather impressive, as was the punch which his scouter was reading must have hurt quite a bit. There was a reason Haku was chosen to go with Kal and not one of the other children, because while this was meant to be a training, it was also a quest that needed completing, and it needed to be done by someone competent. Kal would still hang back, letting the combat unfold. The Namekian would not have Haku's pride so easily, though it wouldn't be long with the odds so heavily stacked against the boy.
"Try to keep up!"
The Namek yelled rising back to his feet and then leaping forward, a Buukujutsu powering his jump in order to make it fill the gap between the two fighters. Then with a swift right hand, the Namek would attempt to return the blow from earlier by striking Haku in the chin. This would be a part of a combo, as his back left leg would be spinning around at this point in order to give a solid slam to the chest of the child. The Namek hoped this would be enough to get the Kid off of his back so he could focus on the real problem at hand. When his combo was finished he would flip backwards once and land firmly on the ground a few feet away from Haku, wherever he was at the time.

Haku grinned. The blow of his punch and the ferocity behind it forced the namekian back across the crater. He would make the man realize he was just as good as any other person, he didn't need an 'adult' Haku was adult enough in saiyan standards, unlike those human cry babies who just rely on their superiors to do everything for them. The boy took his time retracting his fist. He remained paused in that same position for what seemed like a full minute, observing with glee how the green man rolled on the dirt like the bottom feeder he was. He slowly straightened out and proceeded to cracking his knuckles and then dropped to a fighting stance. It was quite clear now that Hakusai had accepted the namekian's threat of 'treating hostile adults'.
Suddenly, the man rushed forward in almost blindingly numb speed. Haku, however, was already in position and expecting the assault, for which it wasn't very surprising that he would swiftly duck under the namek's thrust. There was no denying the startling nature of the sudden speed, but Haku's ephemeral expression of doubt was swayed by a conceited smirk as he moved his little body up from under the namekian's fist and prepared to counter with his own. The namekian was wide open too, but something Haku hadn't expected was the spinning kick which rose from behind.
His cocksure grin was wiped once again; the namekian's leg landed squarely on his chest and the saiyan child was sent propelling the opposite direction. UGH! he yelped, flying nimbly through the air just a foot above the ground as his body slowly descended and drifted until he reached a screeching halt. His armor prattled, absorbing most of his fall, but his chest burned. Haku rubbed his chest and picked himself back up, glaring at the namekian whom was now standing leisurely. The boy had been analyzing what just occurred and snarl curled over his lips. "That's right," he thought, "he can fly..."
If the namekian could float, then it most certainly meant he could fly; which explained his odd fighting. If he were bounded to the ground like Haku, there was no way he could have effectively shifted his weight from right arm to left leg so fast while keeping it so strong. Haku clenched his fist, "If you think that's enough to beat me, then you've got another thing coming!" he yelled.
The boy had made an internal note of the man's ability to fly; and that, as consequence, created another self-note. The namekian must not know of his inability to fly, else he would take advantage of it. Haku charged another energy ball which, as usual, fluctuated with uncertainty as it buzzed to life. But underestimating its power by appearances would be a mistake. The saiyan boy thrust the orb forward, and as it whirred through the distance between them, Haku would move forward to engage the namekian.

The sudden rise of power may have worked better than Haku was expecting, as his power level rose, the Namekian found himself in the touch position of predicting the outcome of the attack. If he underestimated his opponent the blast would wipe him out, but if it was weak as he suspected there was no reason to waste energy on it. Ultimately Haku's attempt to intimidate the man led him to actually fight seriously, pulling his palm back and muttering a few incantations under his breath the Namek charged his next attack just as Haku charged his Ki attack. While Haku may not have known what was going on, someone else certainly did.
His glasses began to beep furiously as the power level for the Namekian rose, and his estimated control grew to nearly a level eight. That was way above Haku's level, especially when concentrated into a beam. This Namekian was through playing around, and he felt legitimately threatened by the saiyan's presence. Kal couldn't allow the fight to continue the way it was. His own hands pulling back charging for only a moment, his tattoo's lighting up into a bright white glow as the Ki seemed to migrate down towards his hands, which pointed forward and shot out into the form of a beam.
At this same time Haku would be firing his orb, and the Namekian would fire his beam based attack. The beam would strike the orb first almost immediately pushing it back, and then destroying it all together. But as the beam came close to hitting the boy, Kal's beam of white light intercepted, the ring of both Ki releases roaring as they exploded in between the two combatants, letting out a light shockwave of energy that caused the Namek warrior to jump back in frustrated surprise. Clearly Kal had made it clear that they fight was not to the death. He could have allowed the child to be swallowed by the monstrous attack, and he certainly could have fired the energy at the Namekian, sacrificing his partner to kill the green alien. Saiyans were known for such cruel tactics. But Kal was not going to allow Haku to die so easily. Perhaps the boy had no idea how close he had actually come to death, but the point was he had avoided the deadly encounter.

Everytime Haku felt that warm buzzing feeling encompassing his hands, he knew the energy ball was ready to be tossed, and so he would do so with all his might. The yellow sphere of ki whirred through the distance, lifting up dirt as it hovers closely over the ground and straight for the namekian. It was a simple energy blast meant to distract, simply stepping to the right would be enough to dodge it unscathed, but the moment he did the saiyan boy Hakusai would nail him in the kisser with another blunt thrust of his fist.
Things hadn't exactly gone as planned though. Oblivious to energy as he was, the boy was caught by surprise when the namekian revealed his hidden arm and projected an incandescent beam of brilliant energy which roared and lit the area with its radiating light. He was astonished and flabbergasted by how quick his own ki blast had been absorbed by the larger one. Blinded, Haku gasped and spread his legs with arms crossed overhead, readied for impact with the beam of energy -that is, until another one came streaming down from the sky out of nowhere. The two energy waves struck each other with intense effulgent viciousness and self-destructed into a wave of penetrating ki. Haku's rebellious hair fluttered frantically; he closed his eyes as the powerful current of wind threatened to lift him off his feet, but they were anchored to the ground, doing nothing more than glide backwards an inch or two.
"What do you think you're doing!?" he retorted, lashing out at his partner, whom was supposed to stand idly by and watch the fight as the saiyan child wiped the floor with the worthless namek. "I had that under control! Don't interfere with our battle!" He snarled, his gaze was intense and complemented by the rustled mullet.
Uherm! The boy cleared his throat and slid his fingers through his hair to keep them in order. He glanced at the namekian in askance and smirked. "You seem a bit shaken," he stated, "none of this would have been necessary if you just cooperated -but, being such a gracious saiyan, I'm willing to overlook everything that has transpired today."

Kal let out a sigh and ran his right hand carefully through his patch of hair. The kid had barely escaped a rather painful death, and yet he was still as vivacious as ever. Of course Kal wasn't going to let Haku die, that was out of the question. He didn't want to play with this foe, there was something about the Namek that worried Kal, so as much as Haku wanted to fight him alone and as much as Kal wanted to let him, that couldn't happen. Crouching down and leaning against one of the remaining tree's on the outskirts of the crash site the older saiyan shrugged.
"I wouldn't have to if you would get your head out of your bum kid. Come on think about this! He is not some worthless peon, if you don't watch out you're toast."
He was after all Haku's teacher, it was only right to try and teach him something. The Namek on the other side was less than amused. He was being used as a lesson for this little ankle biter and it was starting to annoy him. His initial concern about the boy's energy had been quelled, but now he had a new problem. The teacher was able to match his attack. That would be dangerous if and when the saiyan decided to jump into the fight. He was strong, but certainly not strong enough to fight both. Even if the child was not as skilled, he was still enough of a distraction to make for an uneven fight.
"My name...is Yuto"
He said, looking back over to the child. If he wanted to avoid a two on one combat he would have to play along with his interrogations, at least to an extent. Obviously his instructor didn't want the Namek dead, or he would have done it himself, or tried anyway. As long as he didn't try to kill the younger saiyan, perhaps he would have hope of completing his mission.

Tsk! he snarled. Haku didn't like it, but Kal was right. The namekian certainly wasn't some random individual, if he had the balls to defy a saiyan, then there had to be a reason for it; then again, humans are protesting and rioting every day. Regardless, in the few moments of battle they engaged, he could tell the namek was a fighter. The boy was already riled up, it was like teasing a lion with a fresh steak. He already got a taste of it, he wanted more, but the namekian revealed his name and it seemed like their fighting was coming to an end.
Haku wasn't sure whether to feel disappointed or amused. The namekian finally recognized him as a legit saiyan soldier but now he didn't have a reason to grind his little green face into the dirt. He smirked. "Yuto, very well... Tell me, Yuto, what is it you have come here for? Why have you been ignoring our transmissions?"
The saiyan child stood professionally with his tail wrapped around his waist and arms crossed over his chest. He had that same impartial and belittling gaze, with the chin slightly held high in respect to the namekian. Depending on his answer, many things could occur.

"I would have...if I had gotten any."
Perhaps Haku wouldn't understand, but Kal certainly did. In the time they had been there he had already assessed that the ship the Namek used was older and foreign too him. Clearly this ship did not have the ability to communicate with other's so all communication attempts had failed simply because there was no way to communicate with him. None with the exception of in person. As the wind blew Kal's short puff of hair to the side he intercepted the conversation with a follow up question.
"Why not seek us out Namek? Why wait for us to find you?"
It was a little suspicious that he would sit there in meditation for someone to find him. What if someone unsavoury had found him as opposed to a member of the empire. The Namek would have been dispatched, or worse, been fed incorrect information. But Yuto had an answer for that. His order's had been clearly laid out for him. Continuing to look at the boy as to not anger him further he recanted his orders.
"I was to deliver this message to the first person that would have it. It is in the neutrality of our planet to do so"
Neutrality?
Kal thought, what did that mean? Namek was not of any concern to Earth or the saiyans that lived there. He actually had never once communicated with a Namek before due to the rarity of their travels to Earth, and the fact that the planet was not one that the King had ordered for invasion. No doubt by this point Haku had something to say and would cut Kal off from following up, but the question of why the Namek was here still hadn't been answered. Clearly it was more serious than they had originally thought.

The saiyan boy Haku was surprised by the Namek's response. How could he not have recieved their messages? Unless... he turned off his transmitter. Before he could speak though, Kal rushed in to follow up. Haku frowned to the realization that his partner had understood the situation before he could; regardless, that's why he had him, Kal would do the complicated stuff for him while Haku did the fun stuff.
The fact of the matter is, for some reason or other the alien couldn't recieve their tramissions, therefore instead of seeking the saiyans out he remained put in that same spot until someone found him. That should be good enough for the report, Haku thought, but he was sort of relying on Kal to do that for him too.
"Alright," Haku said calmly and professionally, "I believe that means your message is to me, the first person you've encountered. What is your message?"

"Very well"
He said, deciding that now would be the best time of any to relay his message.
"The planet Namek has removed any and all sign of human life from its borders. We wish nothing to do with your regime and offer peace. The alternative is a war that I do not believe either side wants."
It was simple and straight forward, the Namekian's wanted nothing to do with this altercation, and with saiyans spotted on their borders it was clear that action had to be taken. Now Haku and Kal had the message. The Namekians would not leave their planet, nor would any intruders unscathed.
____________________________
"I hear you loud and clear. Tell your leaders that we already did a scan of your planet and found it harmless. You will not be bothered further"
Kal said, trying to sound as official as possible. The reality was that the Saiyans had already determined the planet was worthless. Its droll scenery meant it couldn't be sold. Its high population of well trained fighters meant it couldn't be easily conquered. And most important of all, Honjo had already returned from Namek empty handed, meaning that there were no Human's on the planet to worry about. Meeting the green man's demands would be easy.
"If thats all you should probably go"
Obviously this new found attrition would start immediately. Kal would relay the message and undoubtedly the king would accept the terms.
