The figure of a young woman with pale skin and bright green hair flew low to the ground through one of the many ruined cities that dotted the surface of the Earth. It was none other than Mint, an android who had been activated little over a year ago who hailed from the Ghettien Settlement. A lighthearted smile was spread across her lips and she was absentmindedly humming a cheery tune as she mentally went over the details of her mission.
Apparently, some of the higher ups of the human resistance had a bit of a problem on their hands. A friend of theirs had been buying human slaves from the Saiyans so that they could send them over to the Ghettien Settlement. For some reason, the Saiyans didn’t like the idea that this was happening, and now people were afraid that the next group of freed humans may be attacked on their way over. Mint didn’t really understand why the Saiyans had such a big problem with more people living in the Ghettien Settlement. She got the very basic concept of having people as slaves, as much as she didn’t like it. If the people were bought ‘fair and square’, what was all of the fuss about?
Whatever it was that made the Saiyans so angry about what was going on with the freed slaves, the rebellion needed someone to escort the new batch of people safely back to Ghettien Settlement. Already pressed for volunteers, they had asked Mint to carry out this task for them. It shouldn’t be too hard, right? Once her combat protocol kicked in, she could fend for herself easily enough if she absolutely have to. If she got lucky, any Saiyans in the area might not be carrying scouters with them. She remembered Grandma saying something about androids being really hard to detect without a scouter. Grandma was a bit strange, but she was really smart! Mint hoped that the story was true.
As the android flew through the city, her green eyes spotted an old building with a blue banner hanging over the door. That must have been the rendezvous point! The smile still plastered on her face, Mint decreased her speed and gently landed on the cracked asphalt of what was once a busy road. She cautiously approached the building and poked her head inside of the door. Hopefully she hadn’t gotten confused about the building she was supposed to be looking for.

The building was that of a office complex, now abandoned by all but a few. Opening the door the sun light sprang through, illuminating the dim room. Dust could be seen floating through the air, the whole building seemed to be captured by time. Rusted waiting chairs lined the paint rotted walls, pieces of the ceiling had fallen and scattered across whatever was left of the worn flooring. What few windows frames that were still in contact where boarded up, letting a few rays of light into the dank room.
A man stood back against the rotting wall of the old building, a lit smoke hanging from the corner of his mouth; he seemed unconcerned with the entrance of the young woman. With a knife in his hands began to pick under his nails, digging out whatever grime and dirt that had built up under them over god knows how many years. He was dressed in a long trench coat that almost reached his ankles, the age of the coat could be seen fairly easy even in the dim light of the building. It was mostly just made from patches of other clothing, reach replacing a piece of the coat after each repair. Over his head he worn a wool hat it covered most of hair, only letting a few stray wires to hang out the sides and back. His pants we're equally worn and torn, but with less patches to replace the whole, through the gaps Mint could make out large scars, most of witch matched the whole on the pants. He seemed to be be in his later twenties, he had a strong build about him but his clothes covered most of his body.
Whether he just took notice of Mint or just started to care that she was there, he pushed himself off from the wall.Snapping the knife back into it's holder, leaning down he picked up a small brown bag with a neck of a bottle popping out the top, walking over to where Mint was he took a long swig from it, cigarette still hanging from his mouth. With a loud smack he took his lips off the bottle, and took a drag of his cigarette all the while looking Mint over. Smoke driffted from the corners of his mouth as he exhaled. Putting the cigarette back into his mouth he finally spoke to Mint breaking the awkward silence.
"So your the one who they sent? I would have though they would sent a man to this kind of job not some little kitchen girl." The man said harshly.
Looking her over again he took another drag on his smoke
"It would be a real shame is something as pretty as you were to get hurt out there, eh?" The man gave a hardy laugh.
"But none the less, if this is what they sent ,they must have saw something in you. The name is Serge. Follow me to the back I'll show you the group you'll be escorting, I wouldn't get attached to any of them, don't know how many will make it."
Turning away from the door where Mint stood the man led the way through the back rooms of the building, the condition of the structure seemed to only get worse as they went further back, and the smoke trail from Serge didn't help it much. Reaching a red iron door Serge gave it a slight push with his shoulder, the rusted frame of the door screeched giving in to his force. Lighting flickered off the walls from a small fire pit composed of a old trash can, standing around the fire we're 5 people in tattered clothing. They looked a little alarmed at the entrance of the young girl, looking at Serge he gave them a nod of approval. Seeming to calm down they moved way from the fire and began to pick up what little belongings they had.
"Don't take too long now, we can't keep princess here waiting all day long." Serge said lighting up another cigarette.
Tossing the burnt one into the fire pit, put his hand of Mint's shoulder guiding her towards another door.
"From the looks of you I don't think you've done this kinda of thing before, so just remember things will get rough out there and they might all die, it's just the world we live in. If one falls we can't go back for them or else we lose the whole group. Just stay lose, keep alert and watch the sky's." Serge said calmly to Mint taking a drag from his smoke.
Looking back over his shoulder he called to the rest of the group,
"Alright either your staying or your going now, let's head out!"
Taking a hold of the door handle he forced it open, leading them into the broken down road behind the office building, looking around the area Serge seemed to think it was clear. Motioning the group they headed off down the street towards the slums.

Mint’s gaze softened as they took in the dilapidated state of the building. It had a gloomy feeling to it; as if the building itself was sulking from the absence of someone to take care of it on a daily basis. Whenever Grandma wasn’t too busy or just being her usual crotchety self, she often spoke of the old days like they were filled with grandeur and bright colors. The old woman usually gave Mint the cold shoulder whenever she started asking questions, insisting that there was no use pining for them. However, Mint could tell that Grandma missed them dearly. One day she wanted to see the world as Grandma saw it so very long ago.
The android seemed to lose herself in examining the rotted walls, thoughts of what color would brighten up the room the most if she were to paint them drifting through her head. It wasn’t until the man on the opposite side of the room pushed himself off the wall and started walking toward her that she even realized that she wasn’t alone in here. Given the state of the man’s clothes and the condition of his skin that was visible, he looked awfully beat up. He was covered from head to toe in ripped cloth and scarred skin.
As he drew nearer, Mint was about to give him a warm, cheery ‘Hello’. However, there was something about him that made her rethink that course of action. Was it the way he was looking her over? Perhaps it was the look on his face. Either way, something deep within her told her it was probably best to keep her mouth shut until he addressed her.
After he was done looking her over, the man made a couple of odd comments about her appearance. ”Hmm? Kitchen girl? I guess I work in the kitchen sometimes, but I’m more of a lab assistant than a kitchen girl,” she replied with a cheeky grin, not really picking up on the harshness of his voice. ”Nice to meet you Serge. I’m Mint! Don’t worry about me getting hurt. Grandma is really good with machines. She’ll patch me right up! She’s the one that built me y’know.” This mission was already panning out to be a good one. She had already made a new friend, and she had only just arrived! At least, Serge was now her friend as far as she was concerned. The added bit about being unsure if they would all make it was a bit disconcerting to the mechanical being, but she was sure she had what it took to make the mission an outstanding success.
Mint followed Serge further into the ruined building until they reached a somewhat imposing looking door. Serge gave it a push with his shoulder, and Mint watched it open with a loud screech. Behind the door stood five individuals. Each one of them looked even worse for wear than Serge did. Mint smiled happily at the group of freed slaves and waved at them energetically as Serge nodded to them.
”Umm, Princess? No no, my name is Mint, remember?” Mint replied to Serge’s remark with a tilted head. She then look back to the five people she would be escorting and gave them a thumbs up. ”Stay close, okay? We’re all going to be good friends when we get back to the Ghettien Settlement, so we all need to get back there in one piece.”
Mint followed Serge to another door as the refugee’s prepared to depart. He warned her that they might all die on the trip there, and that they couldn’t go back for anyone if one of the people they were escorting couldn’t continue. Grandma had told her the same thing when she left home earlier that day. The expression on the android’s face went from chipper to slightly sullen. As much as she wanted to keep denying it, there was truth in those words. The reality they lived in wasn’t a pleasant one despite Mint’s efforts to brighten everyone’s day.
”Then I’m just going to have to try super hard, aren’t I?” Mint stated after quickly perking up. There was no way she was just going to give up and let the world around her bring her down when she still have plenty of energy to turn things around. With that, she cautiously stepped out of the building and back onto the cracked road, scanning the horizon for possible uninvited guests. She was guessing that none of the refugees could fly, so they would all be hoofing it. They were in for a long trip.

The group walked slolwy but quitely down the empty worn streets, they had a long way to go before they had it to their distanation and traveling at snails pace wasn't making it any easier for the group, but Serge instisted that if they moved slow it would be much safer.
"Come on, surely we can go faster than this?" One of the men complained.
Serge looked back at him with an stern eye, cigarette burning brightly, walking up to the man he got a few inches away from his face
"Look if you want to go head and charge out their, be my guest and get yourself killed. But by YOUR talking your placing the whole group in danger. So if you don't mind will you quietly shut your fucking mouth and WALK!" Serge yell/whisper in the mans face, spitting at him as he did so.
Walking back to the front of the group where Mint was at he grumbled under his breath,
"Ungrateful little fuck."
Taking place as leader again he made a 'lets of signal' to the group and they followed along, the man from before hung back a bit looking ashamed of himself, and covered in spit. Taking a few seconds he jogged to catch back up with the group not wanting to get left behind. Leading the way through the destroyed buildings was quite an effort on the part of those that didn't have the luxury of flying as Mint did, but Serge warned her otherwise as they approached a large block of concrete that stood in their way.
"In case you have any of those fancy flying power like those Saiyan I wouldn't use them here, never know who's watching and I'd rather not have a pixie giving away where we are." Serge gave a rough laugh.
Giving the group a foot holding he helped each one on top of the concrete slab, eventually hosting himself up. Turning back he offered his hand down for Mint giving her a pull up, even though he looked weak from his appearance he was able to lift Mint up easily with one hand, putting her down gently he turned back to the rest of group. Making sure that everyone was safe and on top the group man their way through a field of destroyed building, old furniture and rebar pipes could be seen sticking out from the rubble. Keeping ever vigillant Serge scanned over the feilds of concrete making sure that they we're relativity safe from attack.
"Watch out for those rebar pipes one cut from those and your good as done for." Serge said point off into the distance.
After a few people tripping in the concrete waste land they could see the ending in sight, they only had a few more 100 feet before they could finally walk on solid ground once again. The man that spoke out before cleared his voice and spoke to Serge once again,
"Hey...I wanted to apologize from before...I didn't mean to be rude, it's just that...I'm just really excited to be free and live without having someone to call master."
Serge heard his words but just shrugged them off, barely grunting in response to the man's apology. Even though Serge hadn't paid attention to wait he was saying someone else had, as a large Ki blast slammed down on the man sending concrete pieces flying to the air kicking up dust, making it hard to see. Taking imminent action Serge tackled two of the humans to the ground, shouting out he called for Mint,
"Alright princess this is why your here show them what you got!" His rugged voice called out.
As the dust cleared Mint could see the impact where the man from before had once stood at, now just a charred out line of his feet, pieces of rubber still flaming from the impact. A few feet from Mint's left a woman from the group was speared through the chest by a piece of rebar, blood trickled down from her mouth onto the dusty slab of concrete.
"So this is the group I was told was in the area, it was only a matter of time before I found you all, such a shame that two of you are already dead. It wasn't even that strong of a blast, is this the best those 'rebels' could do." A voice called out.
Landing on the ground a Saiyan walked into the spot where the man once stood. Standing about 6'5ft the Saiyan towered over the young girl, the sun was falling behind him, making him to appear even bigger and fierce. He worn the traditional Saiyan body armor, a green scanner, but Mint noticed a bunch of white tick maker on the chest piece. Seeing that Mint was taking notice of the tick marks on his chest he spoke out to Mint,
"Like the marks huh? I get on every time I get a kill, in fact I think I earned two more..." Reaching down he wiped his finger across the bloody ground, bring his hand back up he smeared two marks next to the others.
"There we go." He smirked.
Taking a few step towards Mint he looked her over closely with a evil smile,
"So what's a pretty young thing like you doing out here? Did you get lost with these 'bad' people? Well here, why don't you come with me and I'll make sure you get taking care of." He said grinning.
"Anytime princess..." Serge called out.

Mint pouted ever so slightly as she looked at the group following behind her. Everyone was so sullen… They were on their way to safety, weren’t they? Shouldn’t they be happier? The android sighed and crossed her arms over her chest, listening to Serge argue with one of the refugees who was complaining about the pace. Surely there had to be something she could do to lighten the mood…
Slowly, the corners of her lips curved into a smile. She had just the thing! ”If all the raindrops were lemondrops and gumdrops, oh what a rain it would be~!” she started to sing without warning. ”Standing outside with my mouth open wide~! Ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh~!” Her voice was quiet, but still loud enough for the whole group to hear her. It was an old children’s song that Grandma had taught her. Mint was actually quite partial to them. Normally the people of Ghettien gave her funny looks when she burst out into a random children’s song that most, if not all, had forgotten over the years. However, she occasionally got one or two folks that were in high enough spirits to join in with her.
Admittedly, the meaning of the song was a bit lost on an android who didn’t have any taste receptors. She still knew what a gumdrop was though. The sight of those alone raining down on Earth with all of their vibrant colors were enough to make her enjoy the song though. As much as she would give anything to actually taste one, Grandma had told her that installing taste receptors wouldn’t do any good. Food was scarce enough as it was. If Mint were to go around asking to sample everyone’s food, that would just make it worse.
Not really getting much of a response, the android quieted down her singing until it was nothing more than a hum, even as Serge lifted her over a large block of concrete that was impeding their path. Once everyone was over, Mint gazed over all of the rubble that now lay in front of them. They would have to tread lightly here. Who knows what may be lying hidden in the debris if they were to misstep? As Serge said, it was probably jam packed full of stray rebar pipes. The young woman made a mental note to try to find some sort of cart or wagon to pull everyone in next time she took on a job like this. It sounded like something like that would make things much easier.
As Mint gingerly stepped around the massive chunks of concrete in their path, a large blast of ki came out of nowhere and impacted with one of the refugees. Bits of ruined building flew in all directions. Once the dust cleared, there was absolutely nothing left of the man that had been standing there just a moment ago. Before her mind could fully process what had just occurred, a piece of rebar flew down on another refugee and impaled her right through the chest. At first all she could do was stand there in shock. It only lasted for a few seconds before Serge’s shouting broke through her stupor and she snapped out of it.
Mint scowled as the Saiyan who attacked them landed, shifting her position so that she was between him and the other refugee’s that were still making their way across the sea of rubble up ahead. It wasn’t an expression that she used often. When she did, she pretty much always meant business. Not only had he attacked and killed two of her charges without warning, he now stood there marking up his armor with the blood of one of the victims feeling proud of himself. ”I believe you’re mistaken. The only ‘bad’ person I see here is the big palooka standing in front of me,” Mint growled.
Suddenly, she felt something inside of her head click. The android’s expression disappeared from her face until it was completely blank. Her emerald eyes flashed red for a split second before she uttered something under her breath in a monotone voice. ”Threat detected. Initiating combat protocol.” Without another word of warning, Mint’s right hand detached itself from the rest of her arm and clung to the underside of her forearm. In the same motion, she brought the arm up and aimed it at the dead center of the Saiyan’s chest. The moment her hand was clear of the barrel of the cannon that was hidden in her arm, she used her Gatling Shot technique to fire a volley of ki blasts at the Saiyan in rapid sucession. ”All noncombatants are to clear the area immediately! Failure to clear the area will result in your safety being jeopardized!” Mint shouted in the same monotone voice for the refugees to hear, still firing the ki blasts.

The shots flew out from Mint's now open arm, slamming straight into the Saiyan, at such a close range they hit they're target quickly, exploding on impact smoke and dust flew high into the air. Without second thought Serge got to his feet picking up the other two people, lifting them under his arms he quickly made his way out of the fighting area. On his way out Serge noticed the other survivors sticking partially out of the ruble field grab his leg he pulled him out of the concrete, the man was bloody but he was alive.
"Thanks for the save princess, I'll get these two sacks of meat to safety and I'll be back to help you." Serge yelled over his shoulder.
As the smoke cleared Mint could no longer see the Saiyan from before, it looked that her attack had complete wiped him off the planet. From a above a voice called out to Mint,
"Well that was cute, do you always greet people by shooting them in the face?" The Saiayn chuckled,
Hovering about twenty feet off the ground the Saiyan looked down at Mint, his armor was slightly burnt and scrapped but he himself didn't seem to be hurt. Charging up his Ki a black aura appeared around him, muscles buffing out slightly he looked even fiercer than before.
"Don't worry, I'll be back to get you later. I'm interested in this little girl for now." He called out to Serge,
Hearing the words only increased his speed making his way off the field as quickly as he could, a small smoke trail followed behind him as he went. Turning his attention back to Mint he talked to her.
"Well girly I'd break your bones but from the looks of it you don't have any, so I guess I'm just gonna have to rip you limb from limb. Then we can have some real fun, this armor isn't cheap." The Saiyan said cracking his neck.
Fully charged he aimed his hands down at, a pulsing black ball appeared in the center of his hands, beating almost like a heart, the pulse grew faster, and faster until it finally shot out from his hands down at Mint. Whether she chose to block it or dodge it the Ki blast would continue to purist her, attacking with every chance it got. Watching the girl from above the destroyed field he yelled out at her,
"Do you like my little technique? It locks on to a individuals power level and will chase them until they kill their target. No one has ever escaped from this attack, lets see if your different girl." The Saiyan laughed.

Mint’s Gatling Shot kicked up ton of dust. Had the android actually had lungs, she would probably be coughing pretty violently because of it. It was only when she couldn’t hear her shots impacting on anything anymore that she stopped the barrage. Mint’s hand folded itself neatly back into place. She then stood there, motionless, looking for signs of her target. From over her shoulder, she heard Serge yell something about getting the refugees to safety. The android made a note that her primary objective was taken care of, but paid him no mind otherwise. All this meant was that she could better focus her attention on her NEW primary objective. All hostiles were to be eliminated. Distractions weren’t permitted.
When the dust finally cleared, there was no sign of the Saiyan that had attacked the group. Was it possible that he had been completely obliterated? The probability of that being the case was pretty low. These Saiyans seemed to be even more resilient than cockroaches For one to be wiped out as simply as that would take a quite a bit of luck. Mint’s combat protocol wasn’t programmed to believe in luck.
Suddenly, Mint heard the Saiyan’s voice call out from high above her. ”Question invalid. Shots were aimed at the chest. The face was not targeted,” she answered simply while firing a single ki blast up at him. Her voice still lacked any sort of emotion. It was at that point that her opponent shot a ball of jet black ki down at her before proceeding to explain that it would follow her until it finally connected and snuffed out her power level completely. A homing attack, huh?
Mint quickly lifted herself into the air. She bolted to the side, gliding over the sea of rebar and broken up concrete. Just as the Saiyan said, the ball of black energy curved with her and continued to stay hot on her trail. Every time Mint jerked in a different direction, the ball followed with acute precision. It didn’t matter how sharp the turn was. It didn’t matter how sporadic her movements became. She even attempted to shoot it down with a few blasts of ki of her own. Nothing seemed to be successful in throwing the attack off of her. At least she was managing to keep a pretty safe distance from it without too much effort.
As she continued to fly in circles around the area out of the black ball of ki’s reach, Mint turned her lifeless gaze back up to her Saiyan opponent in the air. ”Returning to primary objective. All hostile targets are to be eliminated,” she spoke flatly. Her programming was rather strict like that. On the off chance something did manage to distract her from her goal whenever her combat protocol had been activated, it never took too long for her to get back on track. Mint’s right hand once again detached at the wrist and another Gatling Shot volley was fired at the Saiyan while Mint was still on the move.
This was going to be considerably more difficult without the ability to slow down or stop. The android also had to keep an eye out for the homing attack that was still following her in case it had any special maneuvers up its sleeve. Either way, as long as she could get rid of the Saiyan, Mint would have completed the objective since Serge was escorting the surviving fugitives to safety. Even if the homing attack finally caught up to her and was powerful enough to do her in, there was a possibility that her body could be recovered and sent back to Grandma in order to get herself fixed up. She just needed to deal with this guy first…

The Saiyan's face changed to a look of shock as Mint rose into the sky to dodge the on coming Ki blast, it was very unusual for any humans to fly giving their currently lifestyle. The few humans that could fly never did for fear of their Saiyan overlords from finding out, those that did get discovered were usually taken away or killed on the spot. Where ever they were taken too was unknown but they were never heard from again. The shock from the seeing Mint fly quickly wore off, being replaced by a evil grin. It had been a long time since he had a good flight with anyone especially one who could fly, hopefully the girl could give him the fight he so longed for. She had at least dodged the first attack from his Ki blasts but the blast would continue to follow her around the sky's no matter how fast and well she could dodge.
Flying low she continued through the field of rebar dodging between the rusted pieces of steel and coneret trying to knock the black trackers off her trail, but they were stuck on her like glue tracing her every movement like a mimic. It was true like the Saiyan had said that no matter what they would chase her until they killed her, luckily for Mint they seemed to match her speed just keeping a few feet behind her at all times. Opening her arm again to show her the barrel contained within she shot another barrage of energy of at the Saiyan, since he had been follwoing her with his eyes he saw the attack coming long before they would reach him. Before the blasts reached the Saiyan one of the black Ki blasts broke off from following Mint, and intercepted her barrage. From the speed that the black Ki blast took off from it was now obvious that his attack could have hit Mint at anytime, he was just playing with her at this point.
As the smoke cleared from the impact of the two blasts the black ball of energy was still in contact, his Ki control seemed to be much stronger than Mints Ki.
"Not bad for someone of your skills, but if you keep it up like that you'll run out of Ki soon." The Saiyan grinned.
Out stretching his arm he pointed at Mint, almost simultaneously the Ki blast resumed following after Mint, quickly it took its place back behind Mint as they flew through the air.
"I'm still bored maybe, those people you came here with can put up more of a fight than you could." The Saiyan laughed, holding another black ball of Ki in his hand.
Even though Mint had been so far successful at dodging his attacks it seemed only a matter of time before he would grow bored with her, Mint would need to come up with another plan of attack before he decided he would go after Serge and the others.

Mint’s gaze narrowed as she witnessed one of the homing balls of ki that was still following her break away and intercept the cluster of Gatling Shots that had been fired at the Saiyan. Was he controlling these things directly?! Either way, they didn’t seem like your average homing attacks at all. Judging from the speed it reached in order to block her attack, she was merely being toyed with at this point.
This wasn’t good at all. Mint hadn’t been active long enough for Grandma to install any advanced tactics or techniques. She was quickly running out of tricks to use on this guy. Option after option scrolled through her mind at lightning fast speeds; none of them seemed like they would do any good though. If she were to fire off more blasts of her own ki up at him, one of the black homing spheres would just move to intercept it again. If she were to engage him in hand-to-hand combat, he would probably just grab onto her and hold her out so that the homing spheres would catch up to her. There didn’t appear to be a single aspect of combat that he didn’t vastly overshadow her in.
The android’s circuits whirred wildly as she continued to fly in circles. They were desperately searching for some factor that she might have missed that might give her an edge. None could be found, unfortunately. As a result, Mint started rewriting her objectives. Her highest priority was now set in ‘entertaining’ this Saiyan as long as she could manage to make sure Serge had enough time to get the refugees to safety. Her safety protocols, on the other hand, were set to their lowest setting. Grandma wasn’t going to be happy with her in the slightest. However, Mint calculated her chances of surviving this encounter at less than 5%. She might as well go all out in keeping this guy focused on her. It was time to throw caution to the wind.
Mint kept on flying in circles, outmaneuvering the black balls of ki that continued to give chase. During her flight she gradually drew closer to Saiyan as inconspicuously as possible. The mechanical young woman wasn't too worried about her safety anymore, but she still wanted to wait for just the right moment. Suddenly, Mint jerked herself aside at a sharp angle. As fast as she could manage, she made a mad dash to the Saiyan. Her arm flew straight out to her side at the last moment as she attempted to catch him in a clothesline. Following that, she would then twist her body and attempt to bury her knee into the small of the Saiyan’s back.
Hopefully he wouldn’t be anticipating anything of the sort. The element of surprise was always an added bonus. On the off chance that the homing spheres exploded upon impact, they might even catch him in the blast and do significant enough damage to throw him off the trail of Serge and the others.

The Saiyan hadn't notice her growing ever closer to him, with each circle she flew around the area the gap between the two grew smaller and smaller. Eventually seeing that she had a opportune strike at the Saiyan Mint lunged at him with all her strength slamming her out stretched arm into the muscular neck of the Saiyan. Using the built up momentum from her dashing strike, Mint swung around hold on to his neck for a pivot, bring down her knee into the back of the Saiyan causing him to arch back from the blow. From over the shoulder of the Saiyan, Mint could see the two homing attacks still continuing towards them, but just before the made impact the diverted their course splinting off from their target. However they didn't completely leave the area turning back they began to orbit around the two, just as Mint had done to the Saiyan.
While Mint's attention was focused on the balls of black energy she hadn't notice that Saiyan was still well and awake, his iron grip hand wrapped around Mint out stretched leg.
"Well, well that wasn't too bad, something I wasn't expecting from you. But if this is all you have then I think this fight is over...." The Saiyan said darkly.
Griping down with all his strength, pain shot up the length of Mint's leg, from the sudden shock forced her too lose her grip on the Saiyan. With a swift and powerful tug he ripped Mint from his back, whipping her out in front of him causing a whip flash effect on her. Reaching out with his other hand his large grip was able to wrap around the width of both of her wrists, holding her arms length from his body he slammed her downward while bring his knee up into her back.
"Lets see how you like it!" He laughed.

Mint had prepared herself for the impact of the homing spheres the moment she had dashed toward the Saiyan. However, there was absolutely no impact to speak of from them. Instead, they had moved away from the pair and had resumed flying circles around them as if they were still chasing Mint’s earlier movements. So much for that plan…
Pain suddenly coursed up the leg that had connected with the Saiyan’s back as he took hold of it in fearsome grip. Underneath her synthetic skin, the various mechanical parts in that part of her body crunched and crumpled as if they were made out of tin foil in the palm of his hand. She was then pulled in front of him followed by a single hand grasping both of her wrists. Before Mint could struggle to free herself, the Saiyan brought his knee up into her back just as she had done to him. The force behind his version of that attack, however, made the mechanical young woman’s look like a friendly tap on the back.
The pain lasted only momentarily before Mint cut the power to her pain receptors. The only reason they had been installed in the first place was because Grandma wanted her to be careful. Pain was merely an unpleasant sensation felt that signaled the android to take evasive action and put a stop to whatever was causing it. It acted as sort of a warning sign that whatever was happening could potentially cause her harm. Since Mint was basically throwing every programmed script that had to do with keeping herself safe out the window for the moment, it had absolutely no place in this fight.
The advantage to not being able to feel pain was minor at best. Mint’s systems wouldn’t be overridden with a sensation strong enough to send her into shock again. However, she was still just as weak in comparison to her foe. To top it off, one of her legs was fairly unusable. Her wrists and back had sustained damage as well. Any notion of coming out of this fight victorious had been quite thoroughly shattered at this point. If she kept going like this, her systems would start shutting down one by one. It was far too late to back out though, especially when she was still held in her foe’s grip. She might as well keep this distraction for time up as long as her body could hold out.
Unable to wriggle herself free, Mint didn’t have all that much she could do to this guy. The only course of action she could find was to try to utilize her single free appendage. Using the Saiyan’s grip on her leg and wrists as a way to stabilize herself, she shot the foot of her free leg towards him in an attempt to bury her foot in his cheek. Hopefully he was too focused on his knee in her back to break his hold upon her in an attempt to block or dodge. She wasn’t just going to attempt this once. No, Mint would continue to kick until something physically stopped her from doing so. Perhaps she could get a slight advantage if she didn’t give him any time to breathe, despite the fact that her strength was so much weaker than his.

"How did you like that one little girl, this is what happens in real fights."
At first glance Mint seemed to take notice of the pain from the knee strike but something seemed to change in her as the look of pain disappeared on her face. Now replaced with a calm expression even though that hit should have broken her back, the Saiyan was confused at the site of her still breathing.
"How the hell you shou---."
With no way of blocking Mints on coming attack her free leg made contact with the Saiyans face with a loud smack that echoed through the wastes. With no end in sight she began to kick ferociously into his face, like a cornered animal she was putting all she could into each hit, trying to escape from the grip he had on her. However even with the strike on to his face they didn't seem to have effect that Mint had hopped they were going to have, eventually like Saiyan let go of her other leg letting her swing free from her arms. His face now scuffed slightly, looking as if he had just fallen face first into a pile of dirt.
"Not wasn't very nice of you. If your gonna act like that then I'm gonna have to teach you a lesson you'll never forget."
With his vice like grip still holding on to Mint's wrists he began to swing her back and forth eventually spinning her above his head like a lasso. With each rotation he spun her faster and faster, until she looked like a green blur above his head. Seeming satisfied with how fast she was going he took aim at the rocky ground below them and flung her as fast as he could. At the speed Mint was traveling it would be very difficult for her to slow down, but if she didn't it might be the end of her.

Worst case scenario: Whiplash
His attack moved in two solid phases, the first was a leap, one that would hardly be noticed to the man who was so focused on talking his female opponent down he would be entirely blindside. The leap would instantly turn into a slide as his body dropped, his heel colliding with the knee of the enemy saiyan and forcing his grip to loosen on her and send her flying prematurely to the ground. On her way she would run into phase two of his master plan as his wide arm's caught her just before his legs caught the gravel below them and spun then both into a crouched position.
Mint would find herself in the arm's of the man they call Tido. He of course had orchestrated the entire movement, and when he had heard that the saiyan's had caught wind of their plan, he came to ensure the safety of everyone. The bodies that lined the cavern told him he was too late for some, but clearly not all.
"Are you alright?"
He said calmly, his eyes attached solely to the saiyan who would no doubt be rising up to return the favor. (Clearly Mint is outmatched here, giving a helping hand)

It only took a few kicks before the Saiyan released her crushed leg. It wasn’t much of a relief as both of her wrists were being held onto as if they were in a vice, but it was something, right? Mint only dangled there for a few seconds before she was lifted up and spun round and round as if she were a ragdoll. Had the combat protocol not been active, it would be around this time that the green haired android would be desperately scraping the bottom of the barrel for some sort of bright side of the situation. There was no optimism to be found here though. There was only lifeless numbers and calculating the probabilities of all possible outcomes of the situation. With how she was being spun faster and faster, none of the likely outcomes would be in Mint’s favor.
Before the mechanical young woman could get anywhere near the velocity needed to do the life-threatening damage to her that the Saiyan was most likely looking for, she felt his grip on her wrists loosen enough for her to be flung towards the ground. Before she could hit the sea of concrete and rebar below, the unexpected happened. What Mint came in contact with wasn’t the ground at all, but the arms of an unfamiliar man.
”Inquiry unrecognized. Searching for response…” the android responded flatly as she gingerly pulled herself out of his arms and back onto her feet. With all of the abuse Mint had taken so far, she was looking pretty pitiful. With all of the systems she had shut off to focus every bit of her attention on combat it was difficult to tell that she was programmed to act human. Had Grandma seen her in this state, having to pause to search her database for the answer to a simple question, she would have practically lost her mind. ”Status Report: Frame has sustained significant damage. Several systems are offline. Hostile has yet to be neutralized.” Mint responded in several fragmented sentences after taking a few moments to process the man’s request.
With that, the android looked up and the Saiyan and attempted to unhook her right hand for another Gatling Shot. However, his grip on her wrists appeared to have dented them in just the right places for them to be stuck in place. With her main attack unable to function, Mint settled for tossing a few regular blasts of ki up at him with her waning supply of energy.

"Huh your a fast one aren't you? Well it doesn't matter how many of your little friends you send against me it's not going help you that much." The Saiyan clucked at the two before him.
Mint now realizing that her gattling attack was no longer working as her machinaly parts had been to badly damaged , reverted back to using her basic Ki blasts to attack the Saiyan. Even with all her effort behind each blast the Saiyan saw them coming long before that got near him, quickly he dropped back to ground to be level with Mint and Tido. With the Ki blasts now flying off in the distance the Siayan began to approach closer to them, with the same evil grin he had before on his face.
"What happened girly? Your attacks don't have as much kick as they did before, that hit must have done a lot of damage too you. All though I must admit that you've lasted much longer than I would have thought. Even with your new friend here I'm sure I can take both of you on." He said glaring at the them.
Extending his arm out and facing his palm up another black ball of Ki formed in his grip, with each of his steps towards them it grew larger and larger. Eventually he stopped, it looked as though the Ki blast had reached it's max size, about the size of a basket ball. Extending his arm back over his shoulder he smile at them,
"Well it's been fun so far, but I don't think you'll be able to dodge this one!"
Bringing his arm forward to launch the blast his arm stopped in mid swing,
"What the hell?" The Saiyan yelled, jerking his arm forward again.
"You know I don't really like it when people mess with my friends, especially if they're a princess." Serge called out.
Stand behind the Saiyan, Serge's hand was rapped around the Saiyan arm, seeing that the Ki blast was still charged he tighten his grip caused the Saiyan yell out in pain. The new found pain from his arm caused the Saiyan to release energy blast he had formed.
"Now how do you like it when someone wont let go of you?" Serge yelled.
Turning his free hand around the Saiyan began to fire Ki blasts into Serge, each kicking dust and rubble into the surround air. The force of the impact seem to knock his grip off the Saiyan, not needing any though the Saiyan jumped away from dust cloud.
"How do you like that!" The Saiyan yelled.
As the dust cleared Serge stood there, now naked from the chest up, lighting a cigarette. The coat that Serge usually wore concealed the fact that Serge was actually built like a tank, with his now exposed muscular body he seemed even more of threat than he did before. Seeming unfazed he looked back up at the Saiyan,
"Hmm, oh I'm sorry, had to light another one of these up, takes both hands you know." Serge smiled.
"But, how? Your not even fazed!" The Saiyan called out, fear in his voice.
"Well that's not true, your destroyed my shirt, and that was a nice shirt. So nice that I think you owe me another." Serge said walking towards the stunned Saiyan.
Reaching out Serge put his palm on the Saiyan traditional black armor, flexing his fingers they dug into the armor with the sound of snapping metal, pulling his arm back the armor ripped off the Saiyan's body. Bits and pieces of the black material flew off from the Saiyan as he stumbled backwards away from Serge.
"Hey princess if you want too take him down, now would be a good time." He grinned, smoke hanging from the corner of his mouth.
