"I personally haven’t been inside the factories, but I
have heard the stories from many a people. The conditions are terrible, even
worse than outside here in the slums. The people are worked almost none stop;
they sleep for 5 hours a day and have one time a day to eat. They eat whatever
the Saiyan's provide which isn't usually much, sometimes the people fight just
for a scrap of food; wasting even more energy on getting it than they would get
out of it. After they wake up they're forced into one massive room, where they
put you to work on whatever they're making that day. The machines are old and
out of date; most of them are pretty dangerous many have died from just being
at the wrong place at the wrong time. When a person fails to complete their job
they are beating harshly by the Saiyan's that guards there, sometime they don't
make it; those are the lucky ones." Aice paused his story, standing up he
crossed the room back to his un-seen room.
Coming back out once more he came back with two bowels and a
ladle.
Siting back down he poured the stew in the wooden bowls, offering the
first to Winta. Leaning back into his chair Aice took a few sips from it, the
warm taste filling his mouth. It wasn't a five star restaurant meal but it
would fill them up. Wiping the corner of his mouth Aice began again,
"If you’re sentenced there you’re as good as dead, no one that has ever
been there has ever come back out, well alive that is. Everything that comes
out of those factories are blood goods, stained in the blood of my
people...." Aice got quite, taking a few sips from his stew.
After hearing what Aice had said Winta continued began to talk about his people
and the history between the Saiyan's, it was a long one but still a good story.
Winta had a certain air around him, even though he wasn't the biggest person
out there, his confidence made him seem larger than he was. It was that
confidence that Aice wished he had, sure Aice would do crazy stuff from time to
time, but it was because it was necessary, but with Winta it seemed that he was
born with it in him. It also brought the stories to life, making it seem like
Aice could actually see it happening it front of him.
Aice learned about the history of his people and the fight against a legendary
super Saiyan and lord chilled, and the meteor that destroyed the Saiyan's
planet it was entertaining for Aice to listen to, most people hadn't the time
to tell stories anymore; fearful of Saiyan oppression of the humans past. But
Winta's stories brought a few questions to Aice, like what happened to the
Super Saiyan, and that wouldn't they have seen a meteor way before it hit a
planet. But the answers would have to wait for another day; Aice didn't want to
insult Winta by asking these questions.
Finishing of his stew Aice took a small swig from the wine bottle. Feeling a
bit light head he put the cork back in, and set it back on the ground.
"Well I think this was a great first meeting we had, tomorrow we can start
planning against the Saiyan's but for now I think it's best to get some sleep.
You can take my bed; I insist. I have a mat in the back room that I'll use, if you’re
here for long enough I’m sure I can find another bed." Aice stood up from
his chair, walking towards the back room turning back to Winta just before he
entered the room.
"This is the start of something great, thank you Winta." Aice said
with a smile.
